  1. Opps sorry I hadnt made it obvious now fixed - £550
  2. Decided to sell my spare set of stock 17" wheels in "as new" condition. These wheels are absolutely flawless as seen in the detailed pictures there is not one mark on them and to be honest I doubt if you could buy a new Toyota wheel now it would be as mint. Most sets of these wheels seem to sell for £350 ish for a set of "ok" wheels and you couldn't buy a set and refurb to this standard for anywhere near £550 so for what you are getting I think these are very well priced. I also have 4 good tyres which can be fitted to the wheels prior to shipping for an extra £100 if preferred £550
  3. No more dreamers than half the supra owners currently trying to sell theirs at extortionate prices. I dont think I've actually seen one car priced at £20k sell, let alone some who can't get theirs sold for sub £12k. The category of ancient cars definitely includes Supras with the majority pushing 20 years old now and most are on 20 year old components. Its only a small minority have refurbed the suspension/chassis components and engine (all of which, low mileage or not, need a refresh at that age) which would justify any sort of enhanced price The whole 90's car market at the moment seems to be entirely false. Saw someone looking £15k for an S15 the other day too and the odd punter looking £7k for an NA auto with a load of commentors saying "great price/ hows this still here/ bargain for a clean car". No wonder the market seems to have stalled, its become totally ridiculous.
  4. Very fair of you mate. I think I'm first in line for set 3 then if you only take one set.
  5. Just to clarify I have pmd regarding set 3
  6. Is your car manual? If so why waste the money on syvecs? The link g4+ supralink plug in can do everything the syvecs can do and is half the price plus has a much larger support network.
  7. You can use a hydraulic fitting which an inbetweeny but thats a load of ballaxing about tbh. , -3 will be perfect but go -4 if you are worried. It might over pressurise the seal and leak but as said before the seals are more like piston rings so as soon as you take the pressure off they will just seal again so of it did happen you could just replace with a -3 and no harm done
  8. From the manufacturer when I enquired for my own: His exact words were: "We normally run -4 on the 2JZ GTE but in certain cases it flows a little bit too much. I believe the -3 will be sufficient." "You need 1/4" NPT to -3 or -4. We've ran both without issues, but it all depends on the application. I would not suggest an oil restrictor"
  9. Doesnt look like anything has gone through it. Looks like the blades have contacted the housing which is consistent with the core collapsing and the subsequent wheels no longer feeling like they are attached to anything. 6boost are really quite famous and reliable. Used widely in the motorsport industry especially drifting come pre heatcoated and at a fraction of the price of the usual 2JZ robbery parts: http://www.6boost.eu/
  10. Ah ok, well i suppose in one sense thats good, on the other.....turbo mystery continues. Have you checked to see if your turbo oil drain is blocked or kinked in any way? Excess oil pressure could also cause it to fail. Looks like excess if that oil has found its way past the seals. Seals in modern turbos are more like piston rings than traditional seals, they will allow oil past them with excess pressure but wont blow out of them as such. Thats essentially what happened mine....
  11. P.s did you fit an oil restrictor when you fitted that turbo? If so thats what has killed it. Journal bearings need all the oil they can get
  12. Thats because they won't have taken the head off to do it. They will have used "the rope trick". Its a bit rough.....but it does work
  13. The conversion kit itself is certainly going to do 2.5-3k. It's a bit nice to break as a car in my opinion. I do think it will be easier sold than your gtr alone so if the px deal is right for you id say go for it. Car like that is bound to do 7-8.5k, maybe more with a nice set of standard or TTE wheels if you could turn them up
  14. As above, looking for a stock TT fan shroud Thanks
  15. Yea but if its dodgy it would start sometimes and sometimes not. Otherwise it would be a good ground lol or at least thats my thoughts on it!
