  1. Yes, I forgot to say...some if not a lot of imagination must be used for my comparison to work. As you can probably tell, I was hungry at the time. now that I have eaten: Toyota need a high performance sports car in the range.
  2. Its quite simple, to eat a proper meal you need a knife, fork and a spoon. Toyota have the knife, they have the fork, the gt 86 may be the spoon... but they are missing the ice cold drink...
  3. kevin hunter says himself - There isn't an iconic sports car in the brand. Its clear that they want a share of the performance sports car market. Toyota should be wanting a piece of the cake. The FT-1 may not be released as dramatic as the concept, but a similar machine will be on the production line soon.
  4. My guess its the £45,000 - 50,000 mark options will take it to 70k imo. This car is definitely going to be made.
  5. This! People will always leave their decency at the tills
  6. Does he still have the privilege for paying the damage done to your car?
  7. I'm not sure if other Toyotas do it but on my Supra I need to depress the brake pedal to start the car regardless if its in P or N, maybe it was added for extra safety I'm not sure... one way to check the brake switch is to check it the brake lights work... but I guess this doesn't apply in this situation.
  8. Just throwing some ideas out there... If the car was in gear 1,2 or R without foot on brake, would the car draw current or react differently to N or P? What's the brake switch doing? Brake lights working?
  9. Hello, you need to be a club member to use the PM system.
  10. What I ment was I didnt expect to see you here posting again because a few people ask for advice and never log back into the forum or post replies... bit nice to see you have returned... Anywho. I would only do a few things to your car... such as polish the headlights with a rotary pad, fit leather seats, and convert the antenna/aerial to the S2000 version. Fill it with petrol and drive it.
  11. The best bit of advice I can give is speak/type so that everybody can understand what you want to say. No slang etc... The wizards can't understand it. We still don't know much about the car, its an N/A and its silver... Can we have some pictures? For your friends car to only last 2 years he must have been sha**ing it daily... assuming its a supra? And for insurance prices, I am also 21 and drive a TT paying no more than £900 est. 1600 Canadian. I don't think we'll ever see you again
  12. Yes definitely not an amplifier. Thought it may be alot bigger... Electric seats?
  13. Although ive never seen one it could be the stock amplifier for speakers ect. As I dont think I have it under my seat. A picture would help
  14. 19. If its not the battery playing up in cold damp weather... Dare I suggest a ground to the starter?
