I hope you don't mind carrying this on from here... just helps everybody know what's been suggested and what's been done ect... ) what I have to say about call out mechanics (AA, RAC, Green Flag ect. is that some are very good and helpful, others are useless and suggest anything thats somewhat feasible. It may very well be the immobiliser but as Mr Wilson has said, start with the basics.

That's the type of seller you need to keep an eye on... In addition - The last rear image is the actual condition of the car, all the others are old / last summer / newly purchased images...

If you're planning to keep it 5 - 8, 10 years or so buy J spec, anything longer than 8, 10 years buy UK. All Supra's will appreciate in value but rarity plays a major factor for investment cars. Less cars there are, the higher the value. Yes, many people don't desire a previously damaged car, but theres always someone who chases the chassis number and will pay the cost.

If it is oil from the turbo seals and he goes for a motorway run... wont that risk the engine? And I believe the first turbo is closer to the front, second is closer to the driver. They are sequential so my guess is that they come off together and cannot be seperated unless out of the car, or not at all??? Can somebody confirm this?

Whats the oil level and what's it look like? Is there a creamy aspect to it? What you really need is a leak down test.

What I found so far was the alarm wire to bonnet open/close switch. Every time I would wiggle it, it would sound the notification beep. Usually it should only been when the button is released. Didn't have time to inspect further as I stumbled into this while dark.
