I also thought it had something to do with the alarm system... then I took a step back and realised I had quite a sophisticated system fitted. This is what I investigated the most. The car was imported in 1999/2000 so I have always wondered how it passed the MOT year after year without a fog light fitted, then its always possible to have a friendly MOT technician * uhum* As its cropped up so many times as to do with fog lights/neon etc I'll spend some more tuesday (not raining) aiming in that direction. will let you know how it goes on.

So I found this blue switch and tried to follow the wires back but with no luck. Any ideas as to what it does? I cant see anything as to what it could be. . . . Sorry I cant get the image size down so I have to post it like this.
