I've now almost completed my 2nd year in Automotive / Motorsport engineering with only 8 days and 2 exams left!
There have been some underwhelming grades along the way such as getting 10% in science exams in the 1st year, but that has all changed averaging 75% in the 2nd which gets taken across to my final year.
A first class is 70% and above, so I really am putting the effort in
It takes about 50 - 60 hours to write a report worth anything over 70%, but only 10 hours are needed for a 60% outcome. I've learnt that you've got to work your ass off to get things up to a high quality standard, mediocre work just isn't good enough.
Gone are the days "which makes a loud choking sound every exit puff", a description I used back in 2012 for a problematic coil pack clip causing a misfire.
I'd like to say thank you to the people of this forum, for keeping me interested in the Supra resulting in me staying interested cars.
I'm not quite in the market for another one yet, (they seem to be appreciating the past 2 years) but hopefully within the next 6 months.
I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.
Cheers.
