  1. Thanks Gareth, I felt so damn guilty driving off yesterday and seeing you standing in your door looking - I didn't make it easy for you as I must have looked like Austin Powers trying to turn around outside your place - talk about prolonging it. The good news is that we got home together and she seems happy, I introduced her to the winter house as well (Mum and Dad's garage in the middle of nowhere) and she fit like a glove. The bad news is that she put me in such a good mood I decided to take my folks out for a meal last night so she's kinda cost me money already. I am shocked its alot better on fuel than my RX-8 was. I am alarmed at how the second hand car market has bottomed out though, I had a 2003 RX-8 230, fully loaded, FSH, warranty and only 19,000 miles for £9.5k in Feb, that's gone now though, nice but expensive to run for not a lot of pace. Great to meet Gareth, its the first time I've bought a car off someone that I'd happily go for a pint with - top top lad! Good luck with the house and the Stang! I'm compiling the shopping list already but its nothing too major, just going to facelift the interior http://images.fotopic.net/?iid=yu8m0y&outx=800&nostamp=1 http://images.fotopic.net/?iid=yu8n5x&outx=600&nostamp=1 Just got to find the central locking fuse and jobs a good un
  2. I've had an FD RX-7 and I can say its the best car I have owned by a million miles, they are quick, fun, handle superbly and are damn right beautiful to look at - I miss mine like crazy. However, I can do all my mechanic work myself and in 5 years of owning the FD I covered about 4k/5k, they are a bit of a ticking time bomb but when they are running well there aren't many cars out there to touch them!
  3. Huge thanks to everyone thats mailed me so far, you're not making this easy as there are some real stunners out there it has to be said!! My apologies now for not replying very quickly, work has been hell today but I'll sit down tomorrow and write back to everyone. Thank you! Dave
  4. I'm on Middleton road but the country lane end I used to live in Deytheur (near Llansantffraid) for a few years as well. I know Llanymynech quite well!
  5. Thanks for the welcome guys, I've been registered on here for a long long time Hoff - I actually live in my own place in Oswestry, I hail from Guilsfield though, Llanfyllin High School, most of my friends come for Welshpool. I can only think of Ardleen, Pant, Llanymynech and Four Crosses between the two towns so I'm guessing you live there somewhere? I did see Colsoops in the FS section and it does look nice, I'd have to tidy the dash up a little but appreciate its a TT and for that price its a steal. I just have to be honest and say silvers my least favourite colour..... I do have some interior pics of the first one and it looks perfect inside and out in fairness. The second one is lovely and its the same place I bought my RX-7 from 5 years ago. As I say, I'm in no major rush but would like one soonish so I can enjoy the summer in it. I have had a message to this one, which I'd spotted on PH.com, it looks lovely but my god is that a serious drive, googlemaps thinks 9 hours Thanks for the friendly PM's as well folks
  6. Hi folks, Basically I am in the market for a Supra, I don't mind if its N/A or TT. I've seen a few mint N/A's around and within my budget. I am looking for something like these two but in manual, although I may still go and see them: N/A 1 N/A 2 I would have an auto but only as a TT and I think for my budget I'd be looking at a tired 100k mile job. Preferably white or black, other colours will be considered - the interior has to be mint and the exterior in good shape. I've got plenty of time to look. In short: 1) N/A, (pref facelift) 2) Will consider TTs and can probably stretch a little more than the above. An absolute bonus would be the TRD kit as on the two above! Thanks folks Dave
  7. How can your girlie not like the Sup? My girlie can't wait till I get mine
  8. lol more than likely! That car made me love Supra's more than is healthy I'm sure! I think it needs the kit to get away with it though Just my 2 cents Dave
  9. Sorry mate I've since edited the post
  10. The spoiler ruins the car IMO You'd have been better with the smaller one, unless your car looked like the sup in TFATF your not going to get away with it. It looks awful The Sup has such clean line its a shame to ruin them! Dave
