  1. I'm surprised tbh, I think with xmas and the credit crunch its not been a great time to sell cars - its hardly an issue opening the garage and seeing her there though Also please ignore the tip that the garage is in at the minute, Dad's got his motorbike in there, that orrible XR3i thing and the lawn mower! If it were my garage it'd be kitted out
  2. Hi folks, I'll probably redo a new advert and make a bit more of an effort to sell her in the coming weeks. I've taken a small video of her cold starting and then restarting in the garage, just so folk can hear the engine and see that there isn't a hint of smoke http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=KUHAJ07BDGA If anyone is interested then please let me know. Thanks Dave
  3. Thanks, I'm really looking for standard car though
  4. She's still here and looking pretty, went for a good drive over the weekend and she's still as well mannered as ever. She wasn't too keen on the ice though
  5. Hmmm, the Rx-8 is slightly more manly.... just I think
  6. Oh btw, I have found an RX-8 that ticks all the boxes so if someone wants my Supra then it'd be handy if it was soon - I can't imagine the 8 will stick around for too long! Cheers Dave
  7. Thanks matey, I feel a little bad that I miss my RX-8 too much over this - as you say she's beautiful and drives like a new car How's the stang by the way?
  8. Thanks Andrew, as I say I am in no rush to sell - I've given her a good clean today and did have a moment thinking "Why do I want to get anything else?" - she's a stunning motor
  9. No sorry, she's sold as is - I can't find the inclination to swap bits sorry Thanks for the compliment, she's all tucked up in Mum n Dads garage for the winter or a buyer.
  10. Mines up for sale: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/719181.htm Its white though but absolutely spotless. I'd take about £5400 for her but won't drop below that as I've been offered that price as a trade on an RX-8 (only reason I didn't take it was because the RX-8 had a sunroof) Dave
  11. Thanks folks, she is absolutely stunning to look at and turns so many heads. I just don't understand why we haven't quite bonded like I hoped we would
  12. SOLD SOLD SOLD Hi folks, Its with a bit of a heavy heart that I put this up for sale, I only bought her a couple of months ago but I haven't really bonded with her that much, I'm a bit gutted as I've always wanted a Supra, she looks fantastic and drives like a new car - I just miss my RX-8 too much List of mods: Tein-s springs Yellow Blistein shocks TS Front Varis Skirts Veilside spats TRD Spoiler UK headlights Facelift rear lights 18" Gold wheels with polished lip New Nur Spec exhaust Fully Polybushed Remote Alarm MOT IIRC is Feb 09. She runs perfectly, starts first time, goes like an absolute rocket as well Gareth's original for sale thread is here - the car is exactly as is there, I've done about 400 miles in her in 2 months. There are no leaks, if I'm being anal the only issue is a small ding dent on the rear passenger quarter - you probably wouldn't notice but I'll mention it anyway. She is locked away in the garage at my Mum and Dad's house, I'll put 6 months tax on her and I am only looking to get back what I paid (+ the tax), hence the price of £5600 I'd say first to see will buy http://images.fotopic.net/?iid=yu8m0y&outx=800&nostamp=1 http://images.fotopic.net/?iid=yu8n5x&outx=600&nostamp=1 http://images.fotopic.net/?iid=yu8m09&outx=600&nostamp=1 http://images.fotopic.net/?iid=yu8m0u&outx=600&nostamp=1 http://images.fotopic.net/?iid=yu8mz7&outx=600&nostamp=1 Thanks Dave SOLD SOLD SOLD
  13. ^ agreed, I'd say nice spec awful looking and colour Had an RX-7 and it makes me sad seeing one looking like that
  14. Just bought an auto and whilst I think it is a good box - I really do think it'll be getting binned off veryt shortly, hand on heart I think its a little uninvolving
  15. Just read this and although I am new to the site and have never met you I do understand what you are going through. Out of the blue about 10 years ago my mum woke up in severe pain much like you have described, again she also had all the tests and they turned up nothing untoward at all. She was pretty much bedbound, in a lot of pain and bad had to help her in and out of the bath. Almost 14 months past and as mysteriously as it came on she started to get better, she is now perfectly healthy and enjoying life (as much as any mother can when not nagging at her sons). One of my best friends (Lisa) was also suffering from something similar at the same time as my mum when she was about 15, again it lasted just over the year - she is now fine and one of the most beautiful and happy friend that anyone could ask for. Hang in there, don't let it get you down and fingers crossed for you that you have the same luck my Mum and Lisa did
  16. lol leave Sal alone, she's a cracking girl in fairness Animals all of you
  17. As a new boy I best show my ugly mug, this is me (when I've had a haircut - the one this Sat is definitely needed ) http://photos-b.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v286/204/73/511907125/n511907125_880929_2577.jpg and another with my good friend Sally: http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v156/204/73/511907125/n511907125_411523_4692.jpg
