  1. I am sure the stock cooling setup is fine, although the car isn't exactly standard under the bonnet, so I am sure there is more heat being generated than originally intended by Toyota. When the car is hot, you can visibly see the amount of heat pumping out of the vents in the form of 'haze', so they are obviously serving some purpose (as I am sure Top Secret intended). Whether it makes the slightest difference/benefit to the car, I don't know..but they are certainly 'functional'. I merely wanted to know what other people have done (it's a popular bonnet) with regards to water channeling, as mine has none at all right now. And yes, you are right about the wobble being at the sides mostly. Just not too sure how I can stop it, or at least increase stability at motorway speeds. Cheers, J
  2. Howdy folks, Does this count as 'technical', I'm not too sure? So I've had my TS2 CF bonnet on the car for quite some time (I guess 4+ years, maybe more), but it's never had any water channels, mesh, or anything to stop 'stuff' from going in. Has anyone ever made any form of custom water channel etc to fit this bonnet. To be honest, it's never caused any problems over the years (I don't think!), but it's one of those things that I just wanted to do. It's annoying having the whole engine covered in water-spots constantly, and it makes me flinch everytime I wash it, and have to hose the bonnet down. Just looking for ideas, or solutions, to deal with water ingression, but without losing the functionality of the vents. Cheers, J p.s. Also, has anyone ever attached the standard bonnet catch to a TS2 CF hood? I don't trust the bonnet with just the 2 botched-job bonnet pins that I have. The wobble at 70+ is a scary thing to see!

    Video Game

World of Warcraft - in terms of depth/design/longevity/content etc. But I would go so far as to say that it belongs in it's own category in so far as it's probably now considered as more of a phenomenon, than a game! In terms of the rest .. Half Life series would be right up there. Along with the Battlefield games and Command & Conquer (but I am biased ofc). Going proper old-school ... X-Wing, Magic Carpet, Syndicate
  4. Yay ... this sounds really cool. Congrats and good luck! I'm sure I'll be seeing it soon enough As an amusing side-note, my Brother is now pissed off with me (not sure how this is my fault), because the R32 is with Abbey right now, and he just been told that he's not going to get it back this weekend as scheduled. Their reason .... "We've just lost our best mechanic, so things are running a little slow right now" I think we know where he'll be going from now on Good luck with it all, and see you soon Cheers, J
  5. Heheh ... it's a 4" Veilside Ti with a big Precision Billet 67 slapped on the other end :D
  6. Hehehe ... so that could only really have been you following me home after work today Car looks mean when you see it staring at you in the rear view mirror! Good to see you again, Cheers, J
  7. Ahh, I was there on Saturday! Always go when it's on. The traffic was, as always, terrible. Took 2.5 hours to do a 15 min. journey on any other day. F16, Typhoon (Eurofighter), Vulcan were all great. Afterburner take-off's make a noise that feels like someone is reaching down your throat and trying to rip your guts out. The Battle of Britain tribute stuff, and the Red Arrows ofc, were also really good. Took a bunch of photos that I am still sorting through right now. The only one I've done so far is this one of a Hurricane, Lancaster and Spitfire together ... /proud to be British! Battle of Britain Tribute Cheers, J
  8. Haha, yay! As is yours... good weather for a drive (as long as your A/C works!) Was just sneaking out of work early for a hospital appointment. Just after I went left where you were at the lights, a police car came screaming up behind me, sirens going etc etc .. I thought the worst because I did give it a bit of WOT as I pulled away, and she's not quiet. Luckily he shot past me and carried on! Phew!! Saw a black one too as I was coming back. Sounded nice with a TRD spoiler I think. Got a wave off him too One day we'll sort a Guildford mini-meet Cheers, J
  9. Ahhh, lucky beggar! Not too far away from me at all though, I'm just over at Electronic Arts on Onslow Street, so only about 500m away as the crow flies
  10. Ahh, yah, I start at 9.00am and finish around 5.30-6.00pm Whereabouts do you work then and are you parking in the "Park and Ride"? I'm still parking in the outside "Mary's Road" carpark as I can keep an eye on the car when it's there ... but at £1 an hour, it's not very practical! Cheers, J
  11. Aha! Yes it was you for sure, I recognise the car from your sig Yah, there was a car in-between us, but I went round the outside and came screaming alongside you. But I couldn't quite get level before I hit the back of the queue to turn into town, and you carried on ahead towards the Spectrum . Is it a journey you do each day? First time I've seen you and I am there every morning Cheers, J
  12. Ahhh, yes ... it certainly looks like that could be the car. The wheels in the first pictures were different, but the ones in the last image look like the ones I saw today. I thought it was 'L' reg though, but maybe I was mistaken if it's a '97 car.
  13. Saw an L-reg Royal Sapphire Blue Supra that I don't think I've seen before heading into Guildford this morning. You were just on the bit of dual carriageway heading into town, about to go past the big Curry's & PC World. Nice looking car! I could see an aftermarket exhaust, and I think some dark (gunmetal maybe) alloys? I was right behind you, desperately trying to get your attention. I almost came right alongside you, but then hit the back of traffic and you carried on. Not sure you even saw me Cheers, J
  14. I was just coming off the big roundabout at the top of the short stretch of dual carriageway where the Shell petrol station, Harvester, KFC etc are, and you were just about to pull onto it. Nice clean looking black Supra, had a pretty big spoiler (Veilside?). I gave a wave but couldn't see you because of the sun + tinted windows Cheers, J
  15. The dude that is married to her (Alex Chapman) was at the same school as me, in the same year as me. Although I can't really say that I remember him. There were quite a few Russians there now I come to think of it ...
  16. Last bump before Ebay gets the pleasure! Just to confirm, I don't have a boss for this ... I never got one after I decided that the wheel wouldn't suit my car. Cheers, J
  17. Sounds like it's a territory thing to me. The same thing that got me 3 days in hospital and plastic surgery on both hands 3 weeks ago (see Here The reason he gets on well with the other dogs is probably because those other dogs have always been there too? He recognises them and acknowledges the fact that they are 'supposed' to be there. These new puppies have shown up on what your dog considers to be 'his turf'. He's just being naturally protective of what he considers to be his territory to these new 'intruders'. When we got our new puppy, the older dog who was born in the house and was 11 at the time wasn't overly impressed either (she'd also just lost her mother). They slowly became used to each other, but it took some time. The puppy slept in an 'enclosure' overnight, but in the same room. So they slept together, but there was never any danger of harm. Now the 'puppy' is 2 years old and she's big enough to stand up for herself. The older one still gets VERY jealous when there are people around though. For example, if I am sitting on the sofa with the older dog, and the young one ventures within 10 yards, the old one gets VERY grumpy (growling, barking etc etc), but the young one usually totally ignores her. If it's the other way around, with the young one on the sofa, and the old one coming close .. there isn't the slightest problem. Every once in a while, the young one will get so annoyed that they will go for each other (hence my hospital trip), but it's very rare. If they are left alone together, there will be no issue at all. I reckon that if your dog was left alone with these puppies in a neutral place, there would be no issue at all. My advice for now would be to buy a muzzle for your dog, making it impossible for him to harm the puppies. Keep taking him to the stables, with the muzzle on, until he gets used to the fact that these new 'intruders' are here to stay, and he accepts them as part of the territory. In time, it should get better and he will realise that the muzzle comes out to play if he's bad at all. Hope that helps! Don't be too concerned though, it's just part of his nature to defend his territory against a new threat. Not all breeds will do this, but most will show some sort of 'disagreement' to it
  18. Ahh, thanks for the offer, but no worries. Just say hi to her for me . Would have been a big detour for you too as I am just South West of London, near Heathrow!
  19. Be about 45 mins from Pirbright I reckon. M25 J7, then down the M23 a little bit. I would come, but my car is over there right now, and I can't really drive too well still. Say hi to it for me Cheers, J
  20. Nah, mine is all original, but I've seen the result of flocking on the dash in Dude's car, and it sounds like it would do the job you are after. Maybe give Dude a shout, I'm sure he can provide more info.
  21. Yeah, that! Should do the job very nicely, and not too expensive from what I hear. Not got any in my car, but seen/felt it in Dude's and it's really good. Cheers, J
