  1. DFS adverts .... They are driving me insane!!! (closely followed by Currys)
  2. Sounds like a plan to me. Whereabouts exactly are you thinking of Ben? I live just down the road from Egham. I do like the Boxhill meets too though ... although we always seem to clash with motorbike meets who somehow manage to hog 2/3 of the carpark with about 5 small bikes The PistonHeads guys hold meets in the carpark for the big park in Virgina Water sometimes (Nick and I went before - PICS). It's quite a nice place with a big pub within about 50 yards. Only problem is that it costs £4 to get in!! Cheers, J :upside:
  3. Finally got my pics sorted out (sorry about the focus in some of them ). They are on my site HERE - Under 'Miami-GT RR Day'. Cheers, James p.s. I'm still happy with my figures
  4. Hey Jake, My car is also running rich ... that was the one thing that they did tell me (along with clouds of black smoke on my first run, and a comedy soot stain on the back wall!! LOL! ) Here are the specs of mine (the meaningful ones): - 1995 RZ Decatted (both) HKS Hiper Blitz SBC ID3 + Powermeter TRL FCD ARC FMIC 550cc Injectors SAFC 2 Uprated Fuel Pump Apexi Induction HKS SSQV ... Probably forgot something .... It was supposed to be hitting 1.2 bar, but it actually got to 1.3 . There may be something else that was put in there from when the car was in Japan that I don't know about though? I'm assuming the turbos are standard, but I honestly wouldn't know! Cheers, J
  5. Yep, was good to see everyone again (and some of the petrified faces as their cars were on the dyno). Good to see your new car Tom, and nice to meet Homer too. It did seem that a few people were getting some strange low results. Trig, your car does sound awesome from the outside. Loving the 350Z's exhaust too! I was pretty happy with my result (I've attached links to the printouts below too see if anyone who knows more about this sort of thing can see any problems!) Took Toms' car out for a drive after he got a fairly low result. It felt okay to me, but I'm not that used to a standard car anymore. As he said though, the M3 didn't seem to put up too much of a fight - LOL! Sheena - I hope you get your problem figured out without too much hassle. The bad news is that China Man's standard car (I think ) seemed to come out with a pretty respectable figure for a standard car (maybe still a little low, but not as low as yours!). Anyhoo ... here are my graphs, and I'll try to get my pics uploaded ASAP (although it seems I had focus issues! ) AFR Printout Rear Wheel HP Printout Flywheel HP Printout Cheers, J
  6. I'll probably spill onto the M3 J3 at around 10.45 - 11.00am. If I bump into you guys, then job done. If not ... I'll see y'all there :p Cheers, J
  7. Got my calendar this evening (thx muchly for dropping it off Supragal ... Hope you avoided the dogs!! ) I think it looks great .. very professional. Hats off to Rosie for a top job done!! I can't decide which month is my favourite though. I'm loving February, July and Nicks' car in August ... Can't decide which is best, but they all look great IMO!! Good job! Very happy! Cheers, J
  8. Hmmm ... I can't really think of anywhere particulary close, and easy, to J3 to meet. What sort of time do you reckon you might be passing .... I may get lucky and hook up with you if I time it right!! I really hope this place is good .... it's quite literally 10 mins from my house which is almost TOO easy! Cheers, J
  9. I'll be coming from my place next to M3 J3 if anyone wants to hook up in that area? I'll probably aim to head over there for about 10.30ish?
  10. Heh heh ... Cheers guys :p. I feel like I should start being sensible at my age now ...... Nahhhhh!! Got one of those handheld car polishing jobbies which should do the trick nicely. My right shoulder is about twice the size of my left from continuous washing/polishing at the mo. Cheers, J
  11. Is this deffo confirmed as the 12th now? I couldn't see anywhere that confirmed the date in the previous posts (probably just me being stupid though! ) Cheers, J **EDIT** I just read the updated 1st post! I'll get my coat ... Sorry!!! :stupid:

They are evil ... there is something fundamentally wrong with them. I can't see how any kid could find them funny and amusing ... I run away crying even now and I'm 25 ! LOL :p There are 3 things in the world that scare me: - 1) Clowns 2) Spiders 3) Cider

  16. Yep ... all good. Good to see everyone again too. Never really got a chance to look at the cars though. Too dark, too wet etc etc. Couldn't really do much else other than have a sensible drive home in that weather. Although, following Richard, I did see his back-end step out on a number of ocassions :innocent: Cheers, J
  17. Wherabouts are you coming from Lazarus? Stick this postcode KT11 1BW (I think it's the right one?) into the Route Planner on this site - http://www.rac.co.uk/ - That should get you there (I'm relying on it!) !! Cheers, J
  18. LOL ... Okay, cheers Nick! I'll probably get lost now too - LOL :p
  19. Typical, huh? . I seem to remember is pi**ed down last time we went too

  22. Hmmm .... I'm not too sure what the UK ones look like to be perfectly honest with you? When I was looking for my car, I remember seeing one in the Middle East somewhere with very similar front seats. I thought it looked really good, so I decided to base mine on that . They even made me little pockets on the back of the seats for maps etc ... How cool is that  Cheers, J
  23. Heh heh, Cheers guys. The colour is the BMW Montana Sandbeige .... I think! I'm not 100% sure though as I changed my mind about 1,000 times!! The guys will definately know if you ask them though Just the fronts done for now, yes. They did mention that you had been down there CJ .... I think they like your car quite alot :D I'll get some better pics when the car is on the road, and not suspended on axle stands, with no bumper etc, as it is in those pictures! LOL. Cheers, J
  24. Ahhh ... LOL .... That may be where I was going wrong :p Cheers, J
