  2. Shameless Plug if you did want to give ETTC a go. Nice and easy to turn on and off on a switch! Cheers, J

  4. Cheers dude! Can't take any credit for the yellow 'thing' I'm afraid (except it used to be orange before I got my hands on it!!!). It was made by the ingenious original owner in Japan as a kind of 'home made' airbox I guess? Keeps the cold air flowing directly onto the filter, whilst shielding some of the heat generated by the engine. It's clearly a home-made piece, made from perspex/acrylic .... but it's actually very well made as it picks up on existing screw holes in the chassis. Hats off to the original Japanese owner for that one
  5. Taa Daaaaa Pics HERE Any excuse
  6. Cheers dude Just FYI, it cost me £5 (£2.50 for the badge and £2.50 delivery) Cheers, J
  7. Heh Heh ... I can certainly give them a run for their money! If not, I can use the 'It's running a bit lean at the moment, booked in for a fuel map next week' chestnut, or 'It's a bit cold at the moment, don't want to thrash it when it's not warm' Kopite - I just did a search for 'TRD' on Ebay. There are a few badges on there, but most of them have the 'Toyota Racing Development' text on them which I think makes them look a bit too 'fussy'. The guy I got mine off has the username 'kfm888'. He seems to sell a lot of badges, so maybe drop him a note to see if he has more? Cheers, J
  8. ROFL ... I've been waiting for that! And it just HAD to be YOU didn't it! How you getting on with NFSU:2? Cheers guys, J
  9. Arrrghhh - It does as well!! Just had to go outside and check - LOL! Anyhoo, I went for it and the badge is now on properly. Looks better with the protective film etc removed .. Cheers, J
  10. Hmmm! Hopefully someone on here may know where to get a copy of the manual for you ... I can't seem to find one anywhere! One thing to note ... I tested mine with the first set of settings on that thread posted by 'Branners'. His car is a UK spec, so his settings are no good for the J-Spec, which I soon found out!! Scroll down through the thread a little bit and try the settings posted by 'Paul E' instead as I think those are for a J-Spec car. Cheers, J
  11. Hey dude, I think there is a manual for the SBC ID available in the 'Manual Resource' area at the bottom of THIS page on MKIV.COM. Additionally, you may want to have a look at THIS page. AND ..... THIS thread was of particular use to me when I was setting mine up. Hope that helps, Cheers, J
  12. .. Mr. Ebay brought me a nice, shiney 'TRD' badge today. What do you guys think? It's only stuck on with blu-tack at the moment to see if it looks good. Bearing in mind that I've never had the 'Toyota' badge there, I think it looks good. Evens out the back of the car nicely. Cheers, J
  13. I could REALLY do with replacing mine actually!! Where did you guys order them from (online, on the phone etc?)
  14. I've posted this before, but maybe you have joined the site since the last time. Black Supra, **** KEY in St. Peters Hospital, Chertsey. Seen you the last 5 days in a row in the morning, and we always give each other a little wave. Very clean looking car Was it you Cheers, J
  15. Anyone want to buy a kidney? .... Maybe I can blag one for 'legitimate business use'? Check out the vids .... Awesome Cheers, J
  16. LOL ... I know! What a bunch of numpties!
  17. LOL .... I spun my car on the way to work this morning . No joke, I was doing about 5 mph turning into a little road that I use to bypass the center of Windlesham. The road hadn't been gritted, so the moment I turned into the road, the back end followed me round, and kept going. SOMEHOW I managed to stop before I got to the parked cars about 50 yards away, and I missed all the kerbs . Some BMW coming the other way just stopped in the middle of the road to watch! Suffice to say, I soiled myself and broke out into a cold sweat ! Drove like an old woman for the rest of the trip to work! It probably would have been quite good fun on an open area of tarmac with no hard objects in sight! Not looking forward to the trip home in the dark .... Still snowing here too! Cheers, J
  18. Excellent ... that all makes sense then! Thanks very much for your help Cheers, J
  19. Ahhhh! I think that's where I was getting confused!! Just took a slightly better pic so that people can see ... is this the pipe you mean? And the catch tank just sits 'inbetween' where that pipe used to be (if you see what I mean! ) Cheers, J
  20. Ahhhh, cool .... cheers! So is that saying to take the short pipe off there and plug it up to one of the catch tank 'inputs', and then plug the hose that came with the catch tank onto the other catch tank 'input' and into the point where the short hose originally went to? Did that make sense Cheers, J
  21. LOL ... D'oh! It looks like it should be fairly easy .. but I always think that! (the watch is real btw ... if anyone wants it, they're gonna have to take my arm with it :rich: )
  22. Evening all, Okay, I'm fairly satisfied that I have used the 'SEARCH' button on here (and SupraForums) and not found the answer to this, so please don't kill me I got a shiney oil catch tank (it was cheap, and I'm a sucka for shiney stuff! ). I'm not so worried about finding a location for it, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. BUT ... I have no idea where to plumb it in? Where do I put the pipe(s)? Does anyone have any pictures of where the pipes need to go. It's all very well saying that you need to plumb it into the intake doohicky, just next to the flux-capacitor manifold etc etc .... but I suffer from 'extreme numptiness' when it comes to the names of bits in the engine ! So any pics would be awesome! I've attached a pic of the kit if it helps? The can itself has 2 'connectors' ontop? Cheers, J
  23. Saw a dark blue, standard looking Supra on the road inbetween Woking and Chertsey today at about 2pm. Only saw you at the last minute as the sun was RIGHT in my eyes! LOL Anyone on here?? Cheers, J
  24. Ohhh! Nice piccies! Mine's the one with a dash of yellow under the bonnet!! I got some piccies HERE Cheers, J
