Today has been great ... seriously ..... no really .... just great! :faint: 8.50 this morning, get hit on the side by an Audi TT pulling out of a T-Junction. My passenger door is destroyed, I can see down to the bare metal. My side skirt has seen better days, and a large chunk of bodywork is now wedged inbetween the rim of my alloys and the tyre. Bit worried about that. My bodywork guys are coming out to assess it this afternoon, so let's see how bad it is. :tomato: Phoned SKY about it and they passed me on to the actual underwriter to deal with. I'm definately looking at a £350 excess AND they are not going to gove me a courtesy car And then I went to the dentist for the first time in 3 years. I've been pumped full of that numbing crap while he gave me a filling, which now means that I look like a slack-jawed retard. . I have to go back again for 2 more fillings as well .......... Reckon I should have stayed in bed this morning, huh? I'll get pics of the damage as soon as I can. Cheers, J

Yeah .. it is a good bit of kit, but you REALLY need an HDTV for it to shine! One of my favourite features is the new 'Xbox Live Marketplace' where you can download a load of cool retro games (as well as lots of little puzzle, arcade, adventure etc games) for a couple of quid. You'll probably be able to get all of the best 80's arcade games and that sort of thing on there before too long I've played a lot of games on it (mostly EA funnily enough) and some of them are great ....... but again, you really need an HDTV!! PGR3 will be great. Ghost Recon is awesome. Perfect Dark Zero will be great and Kameo is also a really fun game (played that one). Really is down to preference really. I will get all of the new consoles anyway .. but I am most excited about the Nintendo Revolution (mainly cos Nintendo rule, and they always have!). The simple fact is that you will need to splash out on an HD ready TV to make all 3 new systems work to their full potential (although maybe not for another year if you are waiting for the Revolution and PS3!) I have 4 of these badboys on my desk at work ... good bits of kit. But yeah, the region locking will screw you The only console without region locking is the PSP. You can play ANY game on the PSP from ANY country. BUT ... the movie regions ARE locked. For example .... if you buy a US PSP you can play all games on it, but you will only be able to play Region 1 UMD movies . PSP's are good bits of kit too .... especially for watching the latest downloaded episodes of Family Guy on ... heh heh heh!! Cheers, J

A little update: - I checked the FMIC pipework and there isn't a huge amount of oil in there at all. There was a little bit of residue, but certainly nothing that would explain the loss of 2 litres of oil in under a month. I also checked the undertray. Again, no evidence of oil leakage at all. All seems perfectly normal under there. Also checked the driveway after the car was not moved for 2 days ..... not a drop of oil to be seen I did notice that the fat 'breather' pipe (i think that's what it is?) about halfway down the rocker cover seemed to be covered in oil. It was noticeably wet with the stuff infact I'm starting to worry that my oil loss may be something more sinister inside the engine!! Anyone else got any more theories? Cheers, J

No No ... totally standard in there ... nothing has changed as far as that is concerned. As far as I know, the internals are standard (unless something was added in Japan that I don't know about). I have an SBC ID3, S-AFC etc etc, but I tend to run max boost at 1.1 ...... but I VERY rarely go that high. On average I will peak at about 1.0 bar, so I'm not really pushing the turbo's. This is why it is such a worry for me as I really don't think I 'push' the car that often!! Cool ... I'll have a look in there as soon as I can. Would this not cause any white smoke from the exhaust? I'm secretly hoping that it's a turbo problem and not something more sinister inside the engine. Turbo's can be replaced relatively easily compared to a knackered engine Cheers, J

Hey all, My car seems to be drinking its' way through a scary amount of oil at the moment. Every 3/4 weeks or so my oil warning light flashes on, and sure enough when I check, the oil is right at the bottom of the dipstick. Last time round I had to put almost 2.5 litres in to get it back up to the MAX level. There are no patches of oil under the car, so I don't think it's leaking out (certainly can't smell it in the car). There is also no white smoke coming out of the exhaust that I can see. I do get a bit of black smoke on WOT, but I know that I am running rich. I'm not sure where all this oil is going, but it's starting to worry me now. I am assuming that if the turbo(s) were dying, I would be seeing white smoke? The car has only done 60,000 miles (6 speed TT - RZ) so the engine isn't that old. Does anyone have any ideas what may be happening, or any ways that I can troubleshoot the problem? Cheers, J

Heh heh! Told you it would ruin your life There are guild masters in most major cities. Just click on one of the guards in Ironforge, Stormwind etc and they will give you directions to a guild master. Before you can create a guild I think you need at least 5 or 10 people to sign a 'guild charter'. Once that is done, you can create a guild. Just get a load of peeps who aren't in a guild to sign it for you (just to get it started). They can then leave once the guild is created if they want! I'm a whore for the Battlegrounds now. I'm in there at least 5 times a day owning the horde. Something to look forward to once you hit level 60 Enjoy, J

Well, my guys called me halfway through the day to say that the MOT centre couldn't fit my car in today anymore (despite telling them to turn up at 12.45). Grrrr ... Gutted for you dude. This sort of thing REALLY annoys me. It's just scummy little chavs who have absolutely no respect for anything that they will never be able to have! A woman that lives down the road from us phoned the Police when she saw 2 guys just wandering about in her garden at midnight. They said they didn't have enough officers to send out, and could she wait an hour or so? They were in her garden RIGHT THEN .... what good would waiting an hour or two do .. who knows what they were going to do!! So they said there was nothing they could do, and left her with these 2 guys in the garden. They hung about for a while, clearly trying to figure out what to steal. So she rang the Police back, obviously scared, and made a passing comment about using her husbands' shotgun .... LOL . Within 4 minutes, there were 3 police cars, and at least 5 officers outside the house!! So there was nobody about to help her when two guys were in the garden (and you never know, they could have had guns). But as soon as she mentioned the word "gun", 5 policemen spring up out of thin air :thumbdown

I second that ... well worth doing!! They have a spare drivers seat that they fit to your car while they re-upholster you seats. So you don't need to lose the car for any time at all. Quality is great too. I had my front seats done + piping + logos + pockets on the rear of the seats. Came to just over £500 I think ... but well worth it. Transforms the car. I'm not on the Flex package (or at least I wasn't!). I started about 3 years ago I guess on the Lite 500 package. I'm not sure this even still exists? Back home now, and I'm still seeing a 1.8 mb connection! Nice one ! A friend of my Borthers said he got a letter from Eclipse the other day to say he was being upgraded to 1mb ... but it looks like we have 2mb! W00t Cheers, J
