    I had a host of issues which appeared soon after buying the car. I had dash lighting issues as well as the converter, I had to do a refresh of all the solder joints at the back of the dash, solved all the problems, but the odo still dims a bit when the lights go on. I can live. hth, Matt

    mine did exactly the same on the way out, various combinations of all symptoms until constant failure. If you read off the fault codes, (there's a guide somewhere on here) you'll likely have error 42, a speed sensor error, this is caused by your converter wrapping its t*ts in, and it takes a few minutes for all the different conditions to be met before you get o/d off and check engine etc etc flashing. Tis easily sorted with a new one and plenty of fitting info on here dude. Cheers, Matt

    I think the number of these types of driver is directly proportional to the concentration of garden centres and farm shops along a given stretch of road. The A38 west out of Taunton gives strong support to this theory.

    Well, They've just sotred me out, nice and tidy, knew what they were talking about when it came to car details. Were better than Flux and proper kickedl incompetent Perfomance directs renewal into touch. Cheers Guys
