  1. Looking for the fela that makes Resistor for uk spec injectors into my jap spec car.
  2. mines was locking by the fob sometimes but not unlocking by the fob and also unlocking by its self sometimes too then it could be fine for weeks and then start clicking when your driving and would unlock too. changed the central locking unit no change. took the central locking unit off the bracket and it started working so checked plug and wires for any damage nothing found. put it back on the bracket and cable tied the the wires so they were tight. worked for a few weeks. stripped the insulation back off the loom and 10cm and funny enough its been working ever since (touch wood).
  3. i thought i needed to so i could get the strut out. why can you drop the strut out the bottom?
  4. a belated welcome to ya!
  5. sorry dude its that much of a haddit i dont even realize i'm doing it lol.
  6. i was up buying a uk spec turbo bonnet and i just happened to see them swampy and for £150 thought i'd take a pont at them (learned not to do that again lol). i think if i do buy coilovers again i'll just buy them new!
  7. i adjusted them before i put them in listy and made sure they were all tight. then took it for a drive when you hit a bump or speed bump you'd think your on a boat in a ruff nite but the springs were tight m8.
  8. any idea's were i'd get a resistor m8?

    coilovers

i bought a set of coilovers from a breakers. they are hks fronts and tien rears.i payed £150 which i thought was cheap. well put i put the rears in first thinking they would be the tricky ones (was i wrong lol). then started on the fronts f**ked about trying to get it out until i realized i had to take the upper arm out (easy when you know how lol). drove of the ramp and when to drive home and heard one of the rears banging about. checked everything was tight. took it out and stripped it down and the inserts f**ked (thats wat i get from buying from a breaker) they are going back. just a pitty thou but the hks front felt quite firm but when i went over a speed bump they bounced up and down like a bouncey castle and that seemed quite dangerous too. its kinda put me off the idea of getting a set. has anyone else got a set of hks one's? they aren't like that are they?
  10. thats brill m8. well - - - Updated - - - well appreciated i meant lol.
  11. i bought a set of uk spec injectors for my jap spec supra and was wondering are they hard to change? and has anyone done a step by step guide on how to change them?? thanks
  12. just incase ya's don't know if you have a motor vehicle nvq and you take it to halfords you can get a trade card. makes some difference say the battery was £80 trade £45-£50 there wiper blades are about £15-£20 trade £5. headlight bulbs £6 trade 99p some savings shows ya how much they are making:rolleyes:
  13. found a web site. might be usefull. they even have new oem uk spec tubro bonnet scoops for $221 which is about £140 and some other good stuff too!!!!! http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templates/frmTemplateM7.asp?SubFolderID=319
  14. sorted. some butcher who fitted the fog light switch had taken the relay out and put the wire on one of the prawns and pushed it back into were it came. so it didnt have a fuse and when it shorted out with the lights on the switch in the relay stuck open and thats why the light wouldn't turn off. new relay and everything back to normal. the relay is in the drivers side kick panel above the fuse cover.
