  1. Episode 14 is due to hit YT on 25th Nov at 2000
  2. Waze app is really good. Powered by Google, uses crowd surfing to get traffic information, will reroute if accident ahead and traffic build up is sufficient, even reroutes you back to original router if traffic clears as happened to me the other day and was correct. I use it now all the time, regardless of whether I know where I'm going or not, just for traffic updates and has stopped me sitting in traffic queues more times than I'd like to mention. Is very battery intensive as it polls your location all the time but incar charger is a norm these days. Also, if you've got other people in your address book and they too have Waze, you can send a joint meeting place and it will show each persons eta as they progress.
  3. You make it sound like the last 13 episodes have been all so easy
  4. Just finished watching all 13 episodes, absolutely amazing project and can't wait to see it finished
  5. Peter, my best suggestion to you and everyone is to buy an external HDD, as large as you can afford, 2tb, 3tb or whatever your data requirements are, copy all your data from my documents folder to this or where-ever you keep it, unplug it and repeat this process once a week or month so at least you have a copy if something goes wrong. I keep saying to myself that I should take my HDD round to my parents, that way I've got an offsite backup in case of fire but never got round to it. Another alternative is to use a cloud based solution, Hotmail's OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox etc, usually, any changes made to your docs are automatically synced out to the cloud but this depends on how much data you've got to store. Good luck and be vigilant with emails
  6. Do you backup any of your data? Lots of people don't ... and when they've lost all of the photos, taken over the years along with letters, spreadsheets etc it can be painful ... I'm probably just as guilty about not backing up data but I do have an external HDD that I've got a copy of some stuff on but don't do it as regularly as I should, probably once a week and then unplug the drive to make sure it's not caught if it ever happens. If you want to look into it a little further, search for cryptolocker, you'll find a whole host of info.
  7. Delete them, they are usually a virus or hidden ransomware, had a few customers caught out by these. It infects the local computer by going through all documents and encrypting them with a key that they then charge you for, probably around £500 and say without the key, you can't get any documents back, you have 48 hours to obtain key or they delete the key and unencryption is lost. If you are in a work environment, you'll probably have mapped drives to a network server, they program moves onto those drives and starts encrypting those as well ... hence the requirement for backups and make sure they are done on a regular basis.
  8. Can confirm that this above has just resolved my issue. Stopped working about 2 weeks ago (not using daily at the mo), took the dash apart, checked the fuse behind the drivers side kickplate (number 14 : 10amp fuse), found the converter/delimeter, checked power to it and all ok. Looked on here at this thread, put the clocks back in, reversed off the drive and the needle started to move. Talk about infuriating as absolutely no explanation as to why it would suddenly start working again. Anyways, now a happy bunny
  9. Cheers Ross and Budz, knowing the right part names always helps I'll give some of the traders a shout and get the parts ordered
  10. Just used this guide to replace my pads on the front, excellent write up along with pics Quick question, the clips that go into the pads (pics 5 & 6) where's the best place to pick these up and does it matter if they're not on the car? As you can guess, mine are missing. Also on the back of the pads, there's a black metal thing and then covering that, a silver cover that the pistons push against, my black "things" are rusting and falling apart, again best place to get these from? TIA
  11. Glad to have helped out mate and just glad that between the two of us we could fix it Don't forget to post the pic of that bit that fell off when we took the starter motor off up on here to see if it's important!
  12. Ahhwww shoot, ok, thanks for letting me know
  13. Hi mrgee2jz - do you still have this part available? If you do, can you PM me with cost for P&P? Cheers Jive

  16. Would just like to 2nd Suprafly's comments, top guide here and managed to replace dead fuel pump (supplied by Keron) in about an hour and a half. Would point out that getting the big sealing ring off and back on again is a right pain and much easier with lubrication (sprayed WD40 on the inside of the ring) and it went on fairly quickly. So glad this was here and really appreciated Konrads pictures, they really helped to understand what's what Thanks again peeps
  17. Great news, my fuel pump decided to packup on the driveway this morning Any chance you can let me know if you have one in stock for a '94, Jspec NA? Also how much and how quick you can get one delivered? Thanks in advance
  18. Hi Keron, I too am after a power steering pump but for a '94 J-Spec NA. Again, how much including delivery and how quickly? Thanks
  19. Happy Birthday to you both JC2, hope you had a good night last night

Heh ... I found that site as a link off of Facebook and looked at it and thought hmmmm it looks waaaaay too good to be true Was very tempted to sign up but decided to do a bit of looking around first to see if was a scam ... this thread just confirmed my suspicions
  22. Christ, 9 layers of polish in one day ... it took me 6 and a half hours to wipe, clay, autobalm and put a single layer of polish on the sup today so god knows how you did 9!?!? Your sup looks fantastic and just adds to my thoughts about despoilering mine
