Never been to a toby before but I think its fair to say that Biff and his girlfriend (the boss) looked after us well. Nice BBQ wings to start and a good selection of roast meats. Thanks very much for a great night at an incredible price. Biff got the whole evening for us for less than a tenner each. And it was nice to see the asbo kid back on form. Perhaps you should order a couple of new gearboxes to have in stock. I'm sure everyone would prefer to go back to a Tuesday evening for the next meet but then I can only ask the questions. Its up to the members to state preferences for each meet and then try to get the best match. A few people fancied a suggestion from the other week which I think was the Riverside at Weaverham which is always a favourite but Paul is going to start a thread and people can come up with dates and venues and we can take it from there. Looking forward to Christians meeting at DT. Going out in the evening so wont be staying for pancakes. BOO HOO. Setting off on the 6th April to make sure I get there in time. Cheers

I do work 7 days a week but it is when needed across each day. Got up this morning at 7.00 fed 30 horses and went back to bed for a bit. Accounting for an 2 hour. (Best bit doing customer bills sorting vat etc). Afternoon some tractor work. Shift 4 ton trailer of horse shit (every day). Deliver hay and haylage. Then maintenance. Everyday. Fix broken stuff. Change led bulbs. Security lights. Bane of my life. 100 + bulbs burning each night. Dozens security Pirs. All good fun. Could be worse could be sat in an office. Lol

Hi Mike. Never been in a Toby myself but I'm always willing to try something new. Biff works there and his girlfriend is the manager so im sure they will look after us. Always open to suggestions for anywhere and dates but we only got 2 and as it gets closer to the date i went with what was suggested. Indian or Toby. Indian will be on the table for a future meet. It would be nice to do that pub near your place again for a summer meet as it was a nice ride out. Good food.car park and sit out area. Do you want me to add your name at the Toby. There's the carvery or biffs suggestion of a platter of wings. Pigs. Ribs etc. Sounds like a finger licking time to me. Regards.

Cheers Paul. We ask for suggestions so we can try and meet as many of our members requests. Sometimes that's the day or date or the venue. We will never match everything for everyone all the time so that's why changes need happen. And no one knows what changes we all have to make month to month. You made the request so let's go with it. Having considered the Indian restaurants that I can recommend none of them have good car parking which is always important to us. So I am inclined to suggest that we take biff up on his generous offer at the Toby carvery on the east lancs near to the stone cross. Because Paul has asked for a day change for this month I am suggesting Wednesday 29th. Sorry to hear you are having problems with your employer Christian but instead of building a garage what about a poly tunnel and a "Harry brown" set up. Then you could be self employed. Lol hope you can make it. I'll leave this for a couple of days for other suggestions and then start a list. We can do an Indian on another month.

Maybe a ruby then up to biffs the next month. Sounds bloody good to me. But if we do biffs this time it means another meet up this way so it should be done Cheshire way. Biffs girl friends the manager......even walker might turn up.
