Copy from the last meeting. As per mr bones suggestion do biff will pick it up. Nice evening in a nice venue but the food was poor and the staff pretty unwelcoming. To be fair it had all the signs of poor food by having an extensive menu and few customers. This means lots of the dishes have to come from the freezer. The Angus burgers were on par with worse ones to date in a pub near Preston about 3 years ago that Dan booked. Why do pubs try to make their deep fryer oil last for a millennium. The chips tasted of old fat. Anyway we have to try different places. Great to see so many supras on a cold frosty night. Last time out for many tucked up for winter. Christmas meeting we need so good wings and steaks. Perhaps biff wouldn’t mind us trying his new miller and carter? And it may mean he can be there even if he can’t fully relax? I’ll wait for a response from him and then we can move forward or pick somewhere else. Suggestion for the date please. Or any other suggestions. Hope everyone got home ok after the sliding down the Cheshire lanes especially rob who was under the front of his car refitting a loose intercooler pipe. His face said it all. And his language better even when we offered to take Leanne home with us. “Take her” .....romance!!

Ok there's only 6 of us now so I don't think it's worth driving all the way to Cheshire when most people are further north. We can go there again. I suggest the stone cross or biff place opposite but he may preferred to be away. Replays quickly please otherwise this may be a total cancel.

Yo boys and girls. October is here and it's time to decide on a venue and date. I'm going to suggest the 24th as Rick and myself are in Malta the week earlier and therefore can't make it. If most people prefer the week before, no problem we will be at the next meet. The swan with 2 necks was suggested recently and I'm good to support that venue especially as it's in the right area for the next meet. I used to love going to this pub when in my Mini Cooper s when I was a teenager with my girl friend and mates. Couple of pints there then a spirited race to the whipping stocks at lower peover for the last pint. and not been there since. (10 years ago). Lol. ?????? Still sleeping with that girl friend.

Very sorry to hear about Penny. Christian told all about it at our club meeting last night. Ray.

Christian told us about the loss of a club members wife last night. Most of us have never met Glenn but would like to support him in his continued fight against brain cancer. We were sorry to hear about Penny. I have sent a donation through the gift aid site.

These restaurant all get pissed off with me increasing the table size numerous times then not filling the places. They are turning other people away on what we reserve. The riverside suggested a deposit cos I messed them about previously. I changed the booking 3 times in the last 3 days. They said their reservation book looked a mess. Then we were a few short. Cu later.
