  1. Really don't mind...........therefore voted for all. Will go with the flow
  2. Now...boys...boys...boys. The mkiv Supra is one of the nicest looking, super fast cars of the last 20 years. I saw my first one, in Storm Blue in 1994 at a set of traffic lights on the outskirts of Manchester and watched it launch away from the lights leaving me gob smacked. I had not seen anything look like that or move like that before. I thought " some rich git" and decided that one day when they are cheaper I will treat myself to one of them. 6 years later and for my 50th birthday I eventually tracked it down........yep....an 1994 UK Storm Blue one. I loved it. Kept it for nearly 4 years till I retired to buy a farm. (needed dosh for John Deere) Not owned another car myself, till I was 60. Time to treat myself again......1995 UK in Red. Love it. Old git now but know whats good for me. My daughters partner Rick (soon to be son in law) has just bought Steve Marsh's beautiful TT, so we've two in the family. Who knows, might even build a super quick track car one day......(Rick to drive though)........... it does get in your blood. Ray
  3. Love to have come to meet......but away on holiday. Car will be asleep in bed. Have a great time!
  4. Sod the brakes...............get an x harrier jump jet parachute brake. (Cheap from the M.O.D auctions) Ha!
  5. Bugger........blocked. This was a much better story than the one I downloaded on my kindle last night. Guess we will all have to wait for an administrator/moderator update. Suppose I have to do some work now!

  13. Really enjoyed our first meeting since 2004. Its great being a newby again and catching up with all the latest Supra stuff. Good place for a meeting and nice food, chef could benefit from a single turbo up the arse but still enjoyable. Thanks to everyone for making us feel welcome, I guess thats the northern way. Look forward to further meetings and getting to know everyone better. Cheers Ray
  14. Hey Ricky boy........Happy new Supra. Talk to you later....

  21. Can anyone tell me the difference that took place on the TT facelift (97) apart from things like Vvt-i and gear change on the steering wheel. There's a nice looking one on ebay with low milage. i had a uk one in the past which had larger brakes, steel turbos, etc etc. the import had lower bhp etc. this one is advertised with 400 bhp. is that standard? How do these facelifts compare to say, a standard UK tt auto. Opinions please and any help with differences. cheers ray

Thanks for the reply. Do you have old records that can be accessed. I owned M541 TVW till around 2004 and was a member. But its the other one M821 DSJ owned by Brian Collins that I would like to contact and don't know if he was ever a member. Last meet I went to was at Elvington runway near York. Leon Green was trying his 700 BHP Storm blue supra. Not quick enough for Rocket Ronnie in his Skyline. Cheers Ray

cheers Rob...........nowt wrong with a New Holland. No news on the above supra yet. (M821 DSJ) perhaps Brian Collins was not a member. Maybe someone else will recognise the registration. My old supra is still on the road but don't know who owns it. M541 TVW. Love to hear how its doing. Ray
