  1. Welcome mate........nowt wrong with a mini. i used to rally em (1340s) back in them old days. I'm on my second UK TT now. You'll love it. Go for a TT no matter what, cos you will only want to change to one if you buy an N/A. ro start spending loads of money trying to get whats not there.... You'll have the car.....and youvre got the name. LEON...... Leon Green was was off the fastest supra owners on here in the early 2000's. You could be the number 2. Good luck. Ray
  2. Brilliant mate..... look forward to seeing it. That sounds like fun....fuel in the intercooler, thought that was where you kept your beer cool. Did the box feel like it was lacking something. How often are the strainers and new fluid need changing. My box feels silky smooth, will have a look through all my old bills to see if it has ever been done.
  3. Sorry chaps.......was rushing in and out of the rain whilst covered in grease from knocking 2 bearings off a shaft. Cheers Rick. Was just looking at it for spares, or even a track project and its worth a grand just in BPU stuff. Just a thought...depending on what it could be bought for. Thanks for the feedback but did you know who had it. (could have sold you the old valve stem seals Dan, have you fixed your fuel problem)
  4. Good car for donor parts on ebay. Silver TT Jap spec. Say someone on here owned it for about 12 years. Anyone no its history. Seems Lee P looked after it.

  9. Just been reading about who prefers a supra or a gtr...............got me thinking. Has anyone ever built a four wheel drive supra. twinned a four x four system from another car to a supra engine. Just a thought!
  10. Bloody e'll tim.......i'm gonna tell Nat!.......... You just spent her wedding ring.................Does sound a nice system though, could Paul W do a job lot when making the restrictor ring. Stainless is longer lasting than gold.
  11. Can't wait to see the new premises, got to be better than whats on the sale site..........unless its like a mission impossible film (taken when local ford dealer shuts for lunch and all outside signs changed to PBC) I think the cars he sells look really brill and someone told me you get a free fence panel with every deal. I need a new fence panel.............
  12. Shop around till you get the right deal. I tried Sky.......way to dear. Tried LV who insured me (£545) on a previous TT UK 8 years earlier but hadn't had a car after selling the Sup. THEY wouldn't insure me. Never had a claim or accident when I was with them (8 years). Tried Nfu mutual (farm, tractors etc with them) £1000. Did the deal with Red Star Equity..... fully comp, me and wife to drive. £278.............
  13. Great driving mate..........many a TT would not have ended up in the ditch.
  14. Cheers Chris.......will be in touch when I need some work doing. regards ray

  18. Fantastic...........picture 6 indicates a change of cambelt?
  19. Some SOB has put a small scuff on the edge of my front bumper at the trafford centre and I' am having loads of trouble trying to match it. Its the so called Super Red. Code on id is 3L2. Its an 95 UK TT. Ordered from toyota and it comes as Super red 4 (code 3L2) but its not the right colour. Halfords do a Toyota Super Red 2 (not tried it yet) Any REDS out there that can help will be greatly appreciated. Think someone should invent pop up bollards and ticker tape to surround our cars so no one can get too close.
  20. Cheers mate. Nothing in the little window, so it must have leaked. they said that they had tested it only 1 week ago and put dye in it. No leaks....I wonder. Anyway it will be back on Monday. If anyone else has any ideas, i'd appreciate your comments.
  21. Cheers mate will check the window thing...if I can find it. I always leave my air-cons on, what ever the weather.
  22. Hi boys and girls. Air con was not working. Just had my UK TT aircondioning cleaned checked with dye for leaks and re-gased. Was working great when it came back. Noticed that I could hear the pump swictching on and off on tick over. This has now stopped and its not getting cold again.........(only worked for 1 week).....any ideas before I take it back to garage that re-gased it. I noticed that in the handbook it said that there are 3 fuses that are associated to air-con. One under bonnet on passenger side wing. checked ok. Two that are part of instrument panel. (where is that situated) can they stop it working Any ideas! Cheers Ray
