  5. I'm in. Just pick the date.
  6. How do you test in TTC mode, whatever that is. Cheers Ray
  7. The car backs off as soon as you put your foot down, so first turbo not working. it is the IAVC on the top you describe (number 7 on dans diagram) that has had some repair issues that we are going to change) hopefully this with new pipes to it will cure the problem. Thanks for your advice, all ideas are very welcome. Cheers mate. (rick is Greece so I am replying on his behalf) Ray
  8. That's brill dan. Its number 7 that's been butchered by someone in the past. The pipes had broken off the connections and been repaired by gluing in a straw (looks like the thin bit of pipe off a wd40 canister) plus the pipe had a small split at the end. will order a new VSV to see if it fixes it . If not keep checking. Martin found all this for us. Thanks to him. Ricks suning himself in greece at the mo with my daughter, so will whats app him. Cheers ray
  9. I'm up for it depending on place, date etc
  10. Good night and nice food. WalkeRR (never did get your names) your car sounds great mate ( unless your next to Dan then you can't hear any of ours) and should be an inspiration for anyone who has an NA. Sure goes very well. Regards Ray
  11. Food glorious food. See you there. Now where did i put that supra!
  12. Back from Malta and ready for a drive and a steak
  13. Would have come for a pancake but catching some needed sun in Malta. Ok for April meet after 23rd. Otherwise won't be there either Ray
  14. Seems like a lot of time and effort mate. Why not pretend that you have already done it as you don't use it so you wont miss it. If you sell it, the next person may want to give you a bit less money for having it removed. Of course the choice is yours. Regards ray
  15. Beautiful..............is that a bit of dust...longitude 167903....latitude 344571
  16. No prob..the weather is shit. I will give it a miss then as there is only 3. PM to ste and dan to let them know.
  17. Looking like a poor turnout for wednesday.........where's everyone gone
  18. In the immortal words of the Four Tops.........I'll be there....too.
  19. I had this problem last year. My wifes car is serviced by my local fords and so they said they could recharge my supra for £30. Had it done and it was great for 3 days then stopped being cold. Took it back for them to look at. they said they had done a gas check after the re-gas and all was ok. They recharged it and did another check using the ultra violet light and it showed a tiny pin prick of a leak at the back of the reciever (long vertical tube thing) which was old age corrosion. they ordered a new one from toyota and fiited it and all has been ok since. (cost just over £300) They said that they enjoyed doing it as they had never taken the front off a supra before) I got the information off this website for them. Think they really just liked it cos they could have a test drive. Loved it.
  20. Keep going Dom. Big homemade burger and chips at the steak house (next meet) and talking about cars will keep you going. Cheers ray
  21. Sounds very good. Not on a Tuesday please.
  22. Welcome mate......god these cars are loved everywhere. Try and make it to our next meet in Wigan...........
  23. When and where's the meet this month ste
  24. Sell all the rubbish you may have around your place on ebay. Its amazing what people will buy. I just sold an old paint sprayer from back of the garage, 30 year old farm machine for spares, badly damaged bucket of a digger. Walked past them for the past 5 years. sold for £500. Get on mate. Come to the next meeting
  25. You got it Dan......dodgy battery terminals. New ones needed to be crimped on. Bolts will not tighten the connections tight enough even when locked up, their still loose. Get a new battery Rick so the terminals could be a decent size. Smallest battery I have ever seen, might be off a scooter or maybe its just a jap thing. Uk models share the same one as HMS Dauntless (nuke sub. ) Ha!
