  1. thats cool v8killr, do masterpower do anything smaller than a t70? i think thats a bit big for my goals and thankyou jamesy the first year of my supra adventure has been fantastic.... well up untill i lost my license for an "exhibition of speed" about 3 months ago ;( lol
  2. but would also like the turbo to be large enough to support a bit more, maybe 600hp. incase i win lotto a :Pnd can afford a manual conversion sometime in the future
  3. kaan i wasnt planning on exceeding the 500bhp limit of the auto box, probably aim for 480 to be safe.... no real plans to drag race but you never know, im sure i would be very curious to see what kind of time it would run. this BPU action just isnt satisfying me!!! haha mr v8kilr do you have any spare parts you wish to sell me? im a broke ass mofo trying to do things on a shoestring budget!!!
  4. cheers mate, funnily enough a mate of mine was asking me about 30 minutes ago if i had seen the "v8kilr" supra lurking around!!! and here you are!!! yes i was also thinking of the T04Z but thought since it had such a high hp rating it would be pretty useless in the lower hp range. are you in CHCH?
  5. hey guys after saving my pennys for many months i have finally decided to go single!!! just wondering if anyone has had much experience in single turbing auto supra's? tried to find any relevant threads with no luck. i am aiming for 500whp (ish) as i understand that is about the maximum you can put through the auto box. any reccomendations about what kind of turbo, exhaust a/r sizes etc etc would be much appreciated thanks guys!!! was thinking about a garret t67 but thought it might be too big for such a low hp goal http://www.ebay.com/itm/Garrett-full-T67-HKS-T04R-Turbo-P-trim-T4-750HP-V-Band-/380099241555?hash=item587fae2653&item=380099241555&pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr also found a cheap T70 online but it has a .48 ex housing which seems really small to me... opinions? cheers guys
  6. yes ellis lucky me, swap you for a manual box? haha will take some pictures in the weekend and post them here to get confirmation...
  7. cheers guys, i think i have the big breaks, as i changed my pads not too long ago and remember the front ones being 4-pot... im pressuming the pots being the pistons that push the pads onto the discs?? which worrys me a little but because now im not sure if i have the right pads in there.... they seem to work fine lol and cheers mario i will give the nz calculator a try tonight and see what results i get!!
  8. sweet cheers dunc!!! stoked, the guy i bought it off thought they were the small ones due to it being automatic... but i thought the discs looked awfully large

  12. hi thanks for the great information, must have been a huge effort i have a question... my supra is a 1993 j-spec automatic twin turbo the second to last letter on the top line of the vin plate is Z (gz model) the last letter is Q (rz model) i am pressuming it is a gz model from that information..... but according to the specifications info provided an LSD is factory equiped to the car yet on the last line it appears i have a standard differential (A) so just wondering if i have an rz or a gz?!?!? i also dont have an active spoiler but judging by the paint it looks like the front bumper has been replaced at some stage any info is appreciated cheers guys!!
