  1. Definitely stuck in the Sub £10k for auto TT days! Bought and sold my ‘97 Tiptronic at £8kish between 2012 and ‘15 before the price hike. Biggest regret of my life, not just financially but just because mostly, I just miss the dam thing. it was a one way ticket out of the Supra world, if I knew then what I knew now, she would be sat in my garage right now.
  2. How you doing Alex!! I know how you feel, after selling my 1st Supra back in ‘14/15 it’s something I totally regret. Kick my self every day. ‘97 Tiptronic with 40000km+ on clock for £8500, now I see the prices and know I really shouldn’t have. One way ticket out of Supra world. But hey, live and learn.
  3. Good ol’ friendly bump. Disappeared from face of the earth? Tax and MOT checker comes back all good so must be somewhere
  4. Sold up just before the price hike mate, because I was an idiot and using it daily and ended up not being able to afford to run it. Instead of driving my Clio that was hardly ever used. Sold my VVTi auto, clean, BPU and around 25K on clock for like £8+K Looking at today’s rates it would probably be £17K to buy it back No worries on boot space, anything to help out the club
  5. Wish I could of said I’m on the club stand and doing the parade lap too, selling up really was the worst thing I could of done! Anyways I’ll be attending in the Arteon with my mate, if you’s need help taking banners etc give me a shout as plenty room in boot. Also any convoys from the Wiltshire/Hampshire area?
  6. Tell me about it mate, have little urges now and then to get another. Just in no financial position, but we can dream eh!? Well maybe back close to home, just ashame it’s probably nobody on the club.
  7. I’m not too sure which trader it was he sold to, I’ve found MRXs old thread with the updates he done on it while he had it. Looked brilliant. Do wish I never even sold it, and kick myself with the price hike they are at now!
  8. Bump, still would love to know! Just looked up Road tax checker and it’s taxed and MOT’d
  9. I had one at BPU and I couldn't fault it, as someone has mentioned best set up for day to day driving. Don't let the 4 gears put you off. I didn't have a problem running wise either, so I can recommend it mate. If you got other little questions just gimme a shout I miss mine so much I want to get back into a Supra now.
  10. Yeah man that'd be sweet! Good mileage on too
  11. Looks awesome!! Do you know what it is running and what mileage is?

    New Boy

Welcome dude! Get the ball rolling with pictures man!
  13. Yeah I would be on the hunt for the intake box, I'm sure that's what I just done with my old one with a good panel filter and jobs a good un' I never knew that for the rad, least I know things to replace if I get it Very true, would hate for it to turn into a nightmare I guess
  14. Yeah that doesn't bother me too much that it isn't the original that's in, with it being an Aero and already had a TT dropped in, is what pulls me in to be fair. Yeah the cone filter isn't meant to be good for th engine is it? Least it has some sort of section splitting the engine from the air intake. And isn't the Whifbitz Rad good? But did notice there was no fan shroud. Yeah these are all good questions that I can ask him, thanks for your advice mate. I'm just seeing the price and going love heart eyes I guess. Just want back in a Supra haha
  15. You are right and it's the reason I got one in the first place because I thought screw it, life's for living. Then I met my now fiancé hahahah! I'm now teasing the idea to her as long as she gets her Mini I think she will succumb to the idea, she still thinks I'm crazy but who cares haha Is it better with the roof off I take it?? The car does look well looked after and done up too so I don't really need to touch it unless further down the line I want a manual in it What you guys think of it?? I've found him on Facebook marketplace going for £13K http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?342009-Supra-tt-auto-aerotop-convertion-14k
  16. Could be worth that doing that Like I've said previously, there is a TT auto Aero on here going for £13K only 20 miles from me, seriously tempted to get the ball rolling.
  17. Yeah I've noticed that, seeing some that isn't mint condition on price with what was a mint condition price a couple years ago. I guess that's another reason to come back though, do it before it is too late. Till when they are scarce and parts even more so. I would be maybe go NA manual, but only if it was in seriously good condition. To then make a little project of getting a TT dropped in.
  18. Thanks bro I really want to come back, but like I said it's long winded way to get there. Yeah man I wouldn't mind a hand thanks man!
  19. Yeah man do it, It's amazing the transition it's had since I first saw it!
  20. Oh yeah and I've enquired about the ones that Jurgen has at JM, but he's on holiday so will hopefully hear when he's back
  21. As for what, I'd be happy on either a TT5 TT6 or another Tiptronic VVTi with the only exception to older auto being an Aero
  22. Tell me about it man hahah! But nah I'm sure I was at my happiest when I had the Supra to be honest, going to meets and events with you lot is something I'm missing too bro.
  23. Been over 2 and half years now since I sold my Supra. Went full stupid and got a MB CLA on finance, my reasons then was money. I couldn't afford to run it and needed something take to take me to A and B but when B is a lot further away. Back then fuel prices were at peak in country at 145.9/L within months of selling fuel price plummeted. Couple that with the appreciation of Supras in the past year or 2 and I'm gutwrenched. Back then I sold my VVTi at the average going rate of £8500, so when I see them now for upto £15K for a spanking one, I'm gutted! I'm now at the stage in my contract where my dealer is starting to offering early trade in deals, but something that puts me off is since having it I've joined the Forces, dealer doesn't do Military discount so it's not pulling me in to get another and while the Benz is great fuel wise, got 3 years free servicing, obviously no MOTs etc so I can't fault it but.. And it's a big but... it's just not a Supra, and I miss owning it, driving it, looking at it! I feel out of touch driving such an automated machine, it has its perks and it does get some attention on base. But it's not a real car. Do I take the plunge and come back to the light?!
