sorry to bump an old thread, someone i know has a 2.5 soarer maunal with a blown gearbox i may buy the whole car for the engine and put in mine its an r reg? so this would have the vvti ? is this a good engine to use would you say? cheers

I know this is going to sound silly, I've been having problems with the roof bolt above the passenger head rest, It's gt to the stage where it don't tighten just spins :/ So I removed it, had like no thread on it, I put it safe untill I had a chance to sort it but now lost it :/ So by any chance has anyone got A bolt and the spring and small clip for it Also my car is slightly leaking rain water thru the window on the drivers side it's coming thru few drips on the join to the roof and where the window goes into the deal at the top? Common? Cheers for any help Much appreciated

Finally got round to ringing main dealer for the price of my boot rubbers And I was we'll happy They said they will be £8.79 for the four (Slight trade discount as I work at a garage) Picking them up at Rayleigh dealer sat morning Then just got to fit them.... Have heard that isn't "as" easy lol

Spoke to a colleuge on here a week or two back about moist rear boot, he said the boot rubbers deteriorate over time and gave me a link to Paul whiffing? I was we'll happy with the price but the pp was well high? Are they based in the uk ? If not is there a place in the uk? I can't imagine Toyota main dealer being cheap ? Any help would be mich appreciated cant stand it the noise is driving me mad ! Heard there a bit of pain to replace too

Noticed that the viscous fan is a little bit whiney web accelerate and ok idle more on idle but still there? Common thing or should I change it?

Having trouble with one of my bolts for my roof, it's the one above the headrest I try to push the bolt in bit it's popping out Any ideas or hints to correct this lol x

For £850 plus shipping I was getting all listed in first post , I didn't think it would cost this much I'm unsure what make/brand the turbo is I'm afraid May just sell n buy a natt done as there slightly cheaper than the ordinal Tt As I have found a natt targa which is nice

Mine is an auto and will be staying that way... I a, hopefully going to get the parts I listed for around 850 plus shipping? How much more would it cost roughly with parts you have listed?

Maybe be getting a single turbo and a turbo manifold for a conversion for my na What else will I need? I may be getting a fuelrail, MAP ECU, 840cc injectors, fuel hoses, fuel pressure regulator.too? Not after serious power here just a nice clean car with that bit of extra poke If you could give me the essentials and the extras such as inter cooler etc, Thank you guys Look forward to ypresding yours replies
