well said and personally must agree (i'm ETTC) but i guess to each his own ..... i appears that for town driving, and if you're used to the sequential power delivery, it can take a bit of getting used but useful lowdown torque i find is crucial in this setting. a caveat to add : i don't think the 2nd turbo ever comes into much play in stop/start traffic hence the importance of lowdown 1st turbo n the associated torque. speaking for myself only, i cannot see myself going the single route because i am so used to the current set-up and when coupled with my daily traffic situation, it makes even less sense. the drone is another thing i cannot live with (how on earth nur spec owners can is beyond me ) - just my own 2p ...

it looks great mate ... then again, i may be slightly biased as mine is spoilerless as well ! mine was the black one (without wing of course) parked up near the top of the area. don't worry about the stick you might get from these guys, they are all just plain boring and have no gumption to try something different ... enjoy and welcome to the board. i think that makes 3 wingless ones i know of.

carb cleaner - is that whats it's known as in the shops ? iam assuming it isn't corrosive for the plasticky bits ? wife's toothbrush - LOL .... any other thoughts ? wd40 ? windex ?

after having seen countless clean and neat engine bays at billing, i shamefully feel i must at least make some kind of attempt to keep mine tidy at least. any recommendations from people (using elbow grease) on what products to use/ what to avoid and what to clean and what not to touch ? many thanks ...

Justin - i am very sorry to hear the bad news mate. i am glad that both yourself and the dog escaped without more serious injury. hearing things like this makes me wonder which corner kebab shop some people qualify for their licenses from. i sincerely hope that everything (health, wealth etc) work out for you in the best possible light. am also gutted that such a beautiful machine got wasted in such an unecessary manner (why is it all the wrong cars/people that have bad things happen to them ?). i wish you all the best with the claims procedure and i hope you manage to find something that will make you happy. be patient when looking for an aerotop, they very occasionally pop-up when you least expect it. good luck mate.

out of curiosity, why do you reckon that Mark ? Thorin - yeah, the TTC thing is a bit of a question. i wonder what would happen (as in would it be easier) if one had the ETTC mod done already ? would appreciate some thoughts on this guys ... ? TIA
