  1. Hey all, Whilst stripping the dash panels the other day to replace my dials, I noticed some toe rag previous owner has had the panels out and only replaced some of the screws, I would guess there was atleast about 10 screws missing.... Anyway, where can I easily get these ? Is Keron my best bet.... or can I simply take one with me and pop to somewhere like B&Q or screwfix etc etc... ? TIA
  2. Hey Guys, All working now.... It turned out you need most of the dash connections connected back up again.... Lyndon - Thanks for your advise. Thanks
  3. ah yes... right, all connected, ive just reffited speedo cluster only and they dont work !!! ??? 2 things... Do all the connectors to the dash need to be connected. ? and does the bulb need to be working in the cig lighter ? im not sure if this worked before hand... ? Thanks
  4. Yeah, I want them only to come on when the lights are on... Connecting to the wires you have said (ciggy plug) will they only come on when lights are on then ? Yeah, thinking about what I said, they would be on the whole time !!! OOOoooppppsssss :o)
  5. Hey all, Quick question... Trying to fit these, but not having much luck... Ive tried the solder trick onto the back of the dial cluster, but no joy.... keeps breaking off.... Anyway, with the top half of the dash stripped i can see my KPH to MPH converter... On the little box it says: WHT 12V Signal (Not connected) BRN 5V Signal RED Power BLK Gnd BLU In These wires go to one of the connectors that connects to the back of the speedo cluster... So, my question is.... Can I use this to connect the Speedhut power and earth to ? Tap into the Red for the power and tap into the BLK for my earth... I hope that makes sense.... Sorry no camera to hand or multimeter to hand at the moment... Thanks
  6. I know there should be a plastic trim, but will it fit on... ? Ive seen other supras the same as mine, with no surround trim.... ??? Thanks
  7. What do you mean by they dont always fit.... ? Yeah I know about the rubber coating stuff..... My body shop will deal with that problem... he he... Was going to go with a dark grey colour....
  8. Hey all, Couple of silly questions.... Im sure they are all correct, but just wanted to make sure..... Pic of my stereo.... does it look fitted correctly ? its just there is a gap around the stereo, showing the metal bracket things behind..... or should it have a plastic surround cliped to it ??? My driver and passenger door window switch panels.... Drivers one is plastic, passenger's has a leather finish... Im sure this is correct, but just wanted to make sure.... Also, im going to be getting my dash panels sprayed soon by my local body shop.... Do, I also get the drivers door switch panel sprayed to match and leave the passenger one leather... ? will that look odd... ? Cheers...
  9. Looks just like the pic.... So, yeah must have 4 pots... Disks and calipers were changed to UK spec by previous owner Thanks...
  10. Hey all, Im about to order some of the Supra caliper decals from ebay, but they want to know if ive got 2 or 4 piston calipers..... May seem dumb, but what have i got..... ? Ive got standard UK spec brakes, 1995 NA. Cheers
  11. Yeah I thought they were way over the top !! I just meant they looked pretty cool, wasnt thinking about buying them....
  12. Hey all, Saw these on ebay... thought they looked pretty cool !! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/toyota-supra-mkiv-led-carbon-style-tail-lights-/320924813552?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4ab89c08f0
  13. No... doesnt feel any different to drive.... seems the same.... just a bit quieter....
  14. No2 cat ?? Your saying there should be 2 on there... Oh.... I have my MOT end of the month, is that going to effect things ?
  15. Hey people.... Quick update for you all.... Ok, still sounds on the quiet side.... I have stuck a broom up the end of the exhaust, but couldnt feel / see anything and the broom came out clean !!.... I have taken 2 pics of the underside of the car, to try and show exhaust (sorry for crap pics), Tried to show what I think is the cat and also tried showing rest of exhaust. Apart from the back box, rest of exhaust looks pretty old to me.... I think there is a cat still in place, maybe people could confirm for me.... So, does this shed any light on the situation if I have a cat.... ?? Thanks all...
  16. Its on a 1995 NA. To be honest, I dont know if cat is still fitted... I think so.... Sounds dumb, but how will i know... im sure theres a box up front heading towards front pipe...Presuming thats the cat... Thanks
  17. I want to change my dials soon. They are the stock ones..... Which I like, but the "K" has a sticker over, so it just shows "m/h", but is noticeable, and bugs me....
  18. Is there any other symptoms that might be associated with this, that i could check.... ? I think the exhaust was bought in 2006, by previous owner... Is that classed as old ??? Still looks brand new though... Any other thoughts ?
  19. Hey all, I have a HKS Superdrager... Has always sounded great and IMO fairly loud.... I have noticed the last few days, its gone quiet.... it still gives a nice hum... but its definately lost its "grunt"... Any ideas why.... ? I know its all ok, as it was in the garage a month or so ago and all the exhaust was checked... TIA
  20. Hey.... Looking great !!!!! Recognise where you are..... Im just round the corner from you, Kesgrave..... Often see you about... Hey, If I was to remove my speedo cluster and remove my needles, would you maybe be willing to give me a hand.... so scared of loosing the needle positions, lol..
  21. Hmmm, where are these mounted holders ? There is nothing there, or would they be under where my side skirts sit along ?? Thanks....
  22. Dave, How do these fit on ? My supra doesnt have any at the moment.... ? Thanks
  23. Hi, What do you mean, register where ?
  24. Hey all, Couple of things.... Is there or does anyone have an online parts manual with pics... ? Above the doors, there is a rigid piece of hard black plastic, sits along side the roof and then kind of blends into soft rubber which is for the rear windows.... Anyway, is this hard plastic available to buy ? Does anyone have any tips for bringing the window seals / rubbers back to life ? Mine are very tatty and covered in a layer of grime that will not come off... I know their rubber, but what about a light sanding or something ? lol.... Hmmm, think thats it for now... Thanks people...
