kind of grey/blue but the car isnt using much oil i must of topped up 30ml since friday and its been constantly on the road and i presume being new parts internally it would use a bit of oil (i check this everytime i get into it)

no smoke on start up, if i drive it and change before any boost it wont smoke on idle, but if i 5k or 6k run down the road return to idle it will eventually smoke after 20-30 seconds, but then if i hold revs at 2k to clear the smoke it wont smoke on idle, and yeh i know the turbo is crap haha

Well i know everyone will say turbo turbo turbo now, its a t61 xs power, done about 10k miles at 7psi, and not actually took the turbo apart as of yet

Anybody got any more suggestions ideas?, had this happen to them?

Well this is what we were thinking, they both had small k and n filters on, right side of engine now is going back to the inlet manifold and the left side is on a pipe going to atmosphere

But there isnt any oil in either side of the turbo and all pipes are dry?

Right as the story goes supra was burning oil pot 1 was flooded with oil, so we began a strip down and took engine out basically. Sent block away to find out pot 1 had been scraped by a ring, got a new block had it honed, now this engine has got new rings, new bearings (acl) new stems the works basically that needed changing, its na-t so its been ran in now done about 1400kms and had a few runs here and there underload. After it been boosted the car turns to idle after 20-30 seconds SOMETIMES it will let out some smoke, but none under acceleration or boost, im kind of lost?? because this smoke comes out and leans off till no smoke, but if your too hold on the revs at 2k for example the car doesnt smoke?? Also it has a stage 4 comp clutch fitted and it makes a squeal when setting off is this normal till its fully bedded in ANY help will be appreciated cheers Rob

I think that would be the release bearing, did you put a genuine one in or the one from the clutch kit?

well i best get out and buy a lexus engine haha!, like said i only really need a decent bottom end! because it will be re-ringed and new stems etc etc

well thing is i have a 2jz engine in bits at the garage, but the bores are scraped, so its basically scrap, could the 2jz sump go on that engine?

surely internally there the same? hopefull someone can confirm this - - - Updated - - - i wish i could find one now for that price, im kind of urgent for it now ive been carless for weeks, and had a good think and for the price its not worth sleeving my block and getting new pistons may aswel just replace it

Is the non turbo engine from a gs300 same as the engine in a non turbo supra, as my engines knackerd and the gs300 can be picked up for peanuts thanks

right im using blue, and isnt that part of a closed loop accoding to the mapper? he couldnt change that part? and only happens if i say.am full throttle from 2k and when i hit 3kish i spike and then it clears and goes full boost if i part throttle it passes it and possibly 3psi?

yeh the lean section because i had the same issue at 3000 ish rpm reading 14s on afr goes 11 14 11 if that makes sense then goes full boost perfectly all the way up the revs, fuel systems stock on the car also your emansge blue also arent you?

So this spike at about 3500 is due to a crap map or crap fueling or this hidden parameter section ? im lost! lol

Hey guys/gals recently had my wheels done by a friend of mine what you guys think, i did the chrome lips myself hence why they havent been repaired only flatted and buffed back up

i think my crank seal is doing the same it slipped up my clutch when warm. But also i had a rocker cover leak, box is out now, new rear main will be going in also new rockers so should fix this issue hopefully you can sort it too.
