Non-molested 2 keys and 2 fobs New battery July 2016 Bad bits: Paintwork on rear spoiler small peeling spots (happened during first winter in snow) Front splitter cracked (had job priced when I bought the car, but never done. Cheap fix, especially if you know a guy/shop or are handy yourself) Slight rusting at bottom of rear screen (I believe this is common fault?) MOT advisories – front nearside tyre close to legal limit, break pipes slight corrosion (last 1.5cm) The alloys. They work and look fine from a distance. I love the staggered deep look on the rear, but they aren’t great. I made numerous enquiries with refurb places about having them tended to, but as they’re Jap ones, no one would touch them (they were concerned they wouldn’t take the chemicals?!). The previous owner put these on to sell (having swapped with his friend) and unfortunately they came in this condition. I plastidipped the spokes to try to improve them, but they are what they are. I’m sure someone with connections at wheel furb places would be able to make them great again. For info, they are 17" ‘Works’ I believe (rears 255 x 40, so look pretty wide). PRICE: SOLD! Please PM for contact details. This was my dream car for so long and it is a very reluctant sale. My boyfriend bought me a model of one in 2001 because I loved them so much. I eventually realised my dream by buying this guy in 2012, so he has been my daily for 4 years (he’s never missed a beat in this time). I bought him because I wanted one that hadn’t been messed with. The man who imported him in 2002 was an older gentleman and built a garage especially for the car. He did minimal miles and only sold because he was struggling to get in and out (included is all the importation paperwork). This car has been amazing to own. I’m really in two minds about the whole thing, but the sensible part of me says I need something more economical. I think he’d be an excellent car for someone who’ll really appreciate him. He’s genuine, pulls like a Supra should, looks good and turns many a head still, especially with the deep hum of the Whifbitz exhaust. Interior pics to be added in next day or so, but is standard (ie leather rear, fabric front and grey carpets). Boot is black carpet and boot blind is in situ and fully working.

I won't clutter your thread with all the info, but in essence it's a 1994 (M reg) import, silver, auto. 111k km (69k miles). Mainly standard with a few mods, OEM body kit, 11 months MOT, drives like a dream, lots of paperwork. I won't pretend it's perfect, hey it is 22 years old and travelled half way across the world, but it is genuine, straight and mechanically sound. I'm the 2nd UK owner (imported in 2002) and have owned it since 2012. I'm in East Yorks. Feel free to PM if you want more info etc. This car is a joy and I don't think I'll own another which makes me smile so much. This is a very reluctant sale and only happening because it's time I got a more sensible daily (I'll regret it I know ) Cheers.

We finally got around to seeing Guardians of the Galaxy. Just wow. Really loved it and wasn't expecting the roller coaster of emotions that came along. Groot was awesome. Top film, best this year so far for us. Oh and Ascension.... this was unexpectedly good. I didn't know what to expect, and worried about cheesy acting/sets that tends to come with this sort of thing, but was pleasantly surprised. Hopefully they'll follow up with a series.

We recently watched Dallas Buyers Club. I wasn't sure what to expect from it, but it was really enjoyable. I felt invested with the characters, and even though the end was sort of expected, it was captivating right to the credits. Another solid performance by McConaughey, and an absolute stellar performance by Jared Leto. We didn't even realise it was him! Not a light hearted affair, but gritty and real. Also, may just be me, but McConaughey reminded me of Trevor from GTA V in the early scenes...

My Bf got me a slimline powered Blaupunkt subwoofer. No more crappy bass for me. I got him loads of stuff for his 4x4, so he's just as happy.

Quick update from my latest few. The first two Hobbit films - really enjoyed both after not being that inclined. I can't remember much from the book, but it didn't matter. They kept my interest all the way through, and I wasn't clock watching like you end up doing with the last LOTR film. I thought the actors did a sterling job. Sir Ian just continues to be a legend and the rabbit sleigh was the icing on the cake. I Elysium (again). I forgot how much I enjoyed this the first time. I don't care that some people dislike it. I really like this film and think Sharlto Copley really makes it right. Matt Damon does make it pretty enjoyable too Aftermath - bit of a strange one. I'd misread the rating and thought it was worth a watch. It was ok. Typical nuclear war and how we react to it. The psychological effects were interesting but I wouldn't recommend anyone to go out of their way to see it. Mallrats - being a fan of Jason Mewes, I always wanted to see this. I enjoyed the first twenty or so minutes, but it was just a bit too slapstick and I turned it off. Must be getting old. Videodrome - another classic I'd missed. Kinda wish I could erase it. Just what? It was messed up in a way that even the bad 80s B-movie horrors can't do (except maybe Basket Case or Brain Damage). Hostel - I have to say this was a bit of a disappointment. I'm a massive horror fan, but I'd seen a particular scene from this (the achilles heel scene) which really put me off. Anyway, I finally sat down and put it on. It was nowhere near as bad as that scene made me think it would be. How disappointing. Roll on the next horror.... Oh and favourite Jet Li movie has to be Romeo Must Die. The BF introduced me to this back in the day. Good memories.

Safety Not Guaranteed for us tonight - a time travel adventure!?!? On the rolling credits my first thought was wow. Second thought was that this was the best movie I've seen in ages. It had a Wes Anderson feel to it, but without the weirdness. The acting was superb. It was full of charm and sweet characters which made you think. It's listed as a comedy and it did make us laugh, a lot, but it's also a sci fi flick as well as a bit of a romance. It's an emo/indie kind of movie which I guess resonated a lot with me. I won't spoil the story for others, but the ending was fantastic. All the way through we were trying to guess how it would end. Let's just say I got the ending I was hoping for. Oh and leave this here, a snippet of dialogue from the movie that kept making us laugh: Jeff: [after Kenneth steals some lasers] Fuckin' lasers? Arnau: What kind of lasers? Darius: I don't know, I'm not a freakin' storm trooper. Arnau: Stormtroopers don't know anything about lasers or time-travel. They're blue-collar workers.

Been away, so not seen much, but managed to see Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows and Wild Bill. Firstly Sherlock - was fairly good. I don't know whether it was the small tv, or the fact I was away from home, but this just didn't grab me in the same way the first one did. I enjoyed it, but that's about as much as I can say really. Wild Bill was a completely different monster. I had no expectations, so was hugely impressed. It didn't have the ending I expected (maybe that's a good thing?), but it was gritty, real and very touching. The acting was top class all round and the score just right. It's Dexter Fletcher's directorial debut, and I think he did a great job.

No one said better but it is about bigfoot so that has to give it a few kudos points!

Willow Creek tonight. Was a typical found footage flick (fairly short), but I really enjoyed this. I thought the acting was great and the long tent sequence pretty terrifying how it builds tension. I'm fairly sure this film will have its haters (Blair Witch rip off blah blah), but I don't care. It didn't have the usual stereotypes, neither of the main characters were annoying and it left lots of loose ends. And yes, I do like some weird movies

I thought something incorporating the Jap rising sun with the red/orange rays fading out from the rear wheel would work well... kind of like this... but less lame!! (excuse the poor execution/small image - I don't have the skill/software to pull this off!!)
