  1. I love it. Talking about Supra replicas though... I once saw a cappucino (the Suzuki not the hot drink) with a Supra kit on it.. it looked.. for want of a better word - bent.
  2. Still have all of these taking up space.... any interest? Will only post the steering wheel or centre caps, seat / air cleaner need to be collected.. If people are scared because there are no prices, I would guess (but open to offers): an old Supra 3 spoke (non airbag) steering wheel in terrible condition (someone obviously stuck a cover on it and ripped it off) a job for someone who wants to re-trim and does not want a boss 20 quid posted Rear seat lower section in good condition no rips 20 quid collected Original alloy centre caps - in SZ silver but old and a bit dirty.. may clean up? These have to be valuable no? 30 quid posted Original air cleaner unit - SZ 20 quid collected
  3. I have a trade policy with Tradex, works out quite well as I tend not to keep my cars more than 6 months and always have 2-3 at a time..
  4. So he is some kind of fisherman.. bet the car stinks..
  5. To be fair to them, they are usually pretty good.. and Im a fan of the Welsh accent too... ! Is it older than 10 years? If so, simples..
  6. Im wrong - not the first time certainly wont be the last time... Diplomatic plates British diplomatic car plate. See also: List of country codes on British diplomatic vehicle registration plates Since 1979 cars operated by foreign embassies, high commissions, consular staff, and various international organisations have been given plates with a distinguishing format of three numbers, one letter, three numbers. The letter is D for diplomats or X for accredited non-diplomatic staff. The first group of three numbers identifies the country or organisation to whom the plate has been issued, the second group of three numbers is a serial number, starting at 101 for diplomats (although some embassies were erroneously issued 100), 400 for non-diplomatic staff of international organisations, and 700 for consular staff. Thus, for example, 101 D 101 identifies the first plate allocated to the Afghan embassy, 900 X 400 is the first plate allocated to the Commonwealth Secretariat. 101 D 101 101 D 101 900 X 400 900 X 400 A limited number of "personal" plates, bearing a similar format to earlier civilian registrations, are issued to embassies and high commissions for use of their ambassador or high commissioner. For example, the United States embassy is allowed to use the registration USA 1 on one of its fleet of vehicles; Zimbabwe's high commissioner has ZIM 1 and South Korea's ambassador ROK 1 - 'Republic of Korea'. The North Korean embassy, however, had to buy a vanity plate: PRK 1D .[46]
  7. No, the diplomatic plates have a D in the middle and have to be removed once the diplomats sell them.. I always wandered about this as a car near me has the X plates.. maybe military? Anyone know?
  8. Depends how old it is, shoudl generally be straight forward, especially if its older than 10 years. Contact the DVLA if in doubt.
  9. Hear these guys are also good and reasonable. http://tmclondon.co.uk/ Have not used them myself though.
  10. yep, use a fork to prise them off evenly or two teaspoons either side. Be gentle!
  11. Maybe this one goes over the original pillar and dive_popo's replaces it?
  12. Looking at the Japanese on the label it just says Pillar meter bar for Supra, would say aerotop if it was specific. Price in yen interestingly converts to 65 quid!
  13. I was cruising around london in my R34 GTR a couple of years ago - which I thought was a fast car - and then I saw a R35 in my rear view mirror on my bumper. We had soem fun through the streets but it was very clear that it is a very special beast.. Power, without control, will not beat it. - well thats my thought anyway!
