  1. Just got word from Lee my blocks come back from the machine shop and all the internals have been balanced. SRD 280 cams have been ordered also. Will try get some pictures up as its being built
  2. Cheers guys, I'll feel the carpet when I get home. There's a guide on here somewhere I'll have a read through and see what's involved
  3. I switched the heater on the other night to de mist the window screen and it smelt quite strong of hot coolant/antifreeze, within seconds the whole screen misted up even worse to the point I had to pull over. This is obviously something to do with the matrix but what's causing it and do I need a new one? Cheers
  4. Stroked on a stock size bore makes it a 3.3 unless it had a 96mm stroke. I'm guessing it's more torque than top end power he's going for.
  5. My high stall had shorter bolts than stock, might be worth comparing.
  6. Good stuff guys, a built auto makes the world of difference with a high stall converter. I can imagine the fun you've been having Not alot of cars will keep up now
  7. Here mate - http://www.sumopower.com/product/blitz-nur-spec-r-baffle--blitz-mp2101
  8. I would go with the Titan box, this is what I have and is rated to 800+whp. The last one I had burnt out due to a bad torque converter but apart from that I don't think there's been another failure with this box but I've heard quite a few boostlogic box's failing. Just my opinion though...
  9. Yeah same, I only know people by their usernames I won't be there next month as the cars coming off the road for winter.
  10. Another great meet guys I've just this second got home. Sorry if I didn't get a chance to speak with everyone there turned out to be quite a few of us in the end but it was good to meet some new faces.
  11. Ok guys I'll see you there 9ish? Won't be having chicken though I've just had dinner

I think the main reason is they last longer than the oem piece but also look alot better.

I'm sure my engine builder will know what he's doing and also I have an aftermarket crank so it could be different.

That is correct I use a pk1865 for std pulley no aircon, I searched with no luck on belt size for an ati so by the looks of it 1990 should be the one for me when I change pulleys. Thanks for the info
  17. It's also known as a caustic soda bath but this is quite old school I'm not sure if health and safety allows this kind of thing anymore.

Could it have not been installed correctly or something else causing the belts to fail? Do you have an auto?
  19. You could get it hot tanked if you know anywhere that does it?
