  1. Nice, well done to all involved!
  2. Spill the beans,, how did it do?
  3. Well done mate that's an awesome result, it's good to max the turbo out to get the best spool for that power level. A cracking car you have now!
  4. Does anyone know the best brake fluid to use or is there any recommendations?
  5. Good luck today Luc, let us know how you get on mate
  6. Brilliant! Looks so much more neater and clean looking.
  7. Finally finsihed the brake lines today, the last one to do was the drivers front brake which comes straight from the cylinder downwards into the wheel well. I was going to use a rubber grommet but instead made a feed through hole from a 10mm bolt and stainless steel dome nut with a 7mm hole drilled through the middle. Here is where it comes through into the wheel area. Also replaced the standard M6 nuts that hold the cylinder with stainless steel dome nuts. Finished -

Not enough power is usually the cause of distortion. It's best to match the subwoofers power with an amp then have it running at 50-75% load.
  12. 50 litres of ethanol for mapping I like the sound of that Good luck mate!

What's the input voltage set to on the amp? This must be the same as the RCA output on the headunit. People treat the voltage input as a volume, it's not. If it's set to its lowest voltage of say .5v (the most clockwise position) and the headunit already has a high signal output (6-12v) the amp is multiplying what's already a high output signal thinking it's at .5v to meet its requirements thus trying to pump out more power than it should be even at low volumes resulting in a very distorted clipped signal. Make sense?

Have you chanted anything from when you say it was working fine before ie headunit, amp etc? What's the make and model of the headunit?
  15. I could but it would involve too much work and a respray again. I should have thought about this when doing all the work on the bay. Hopefully skimming the exhaust manifold flange works enough for it not to hit.
  16. Love what you've done with the boot looks well smart. Fingers crossed for you mate!
  17. It sure will Luc, the autobox will make this combination an awesome experience!
  18. That's the one Jamie thanks! I was trying to remember what Lee was saying and that sounds familiar.
