  1. I think its done electronicly through the gear select control box on the side of the transmission which the linkage joins to. Each position gives signals to the numerous solenoids inside the transmission to select different gears.
  2. Are you bringing the Supra? Will be cool to finally see the car in person.
  3. They are nice, especially satin centres and gloss lips. I think some wide black wheels would suite yours as well mate
  4. Any more going? I won't be in the supra so I'll keep a look out for those with their Supras
  5. I see what your saying I bought an autoleads connector I see in this thread - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?219189-By-passing-the-factory-amp But where does this connect to the wires that go into the amp under the seat? Because with the amp unplugged the wires that the headunit were plugged into aren't connected to anything. This was the bit that connected the amp to headunit. The headunit was powering its own speakers so the only wires I was using was, live, ground and ignition. None of the 2 connectors that come out the grey holder were used so I'm not sure what they're for.
  6. Mate if that were me I would be chasing that money up, things like this make my blood boil how can anyone forget to tighten a bolt.
  7. Anyone? I'll try upload some pictures later of what I have.
  8. Im a flooring fitter I do basically everything but wood and tiles. Money isn't that good to be honest but 10 years in the trade you get quicker and quicker meaning more jobs get done. And I work 7 days a week most of the time so It's bloody hard graft though I'm only 25 and my knees and back are knackered lol.
  9. Thanks, silver will do for now as I'm changing the interior next year anyway.
  10. Wow yeah that's a massive improvement, a nice spooling turbo that I bet it kicks hard at 3.5k rpm. Videos are a must!
  11. I love the classics, another awesome wheel. Infact I would go for most of the wheels CCW make but classics and LM20s seem to be the most popular choice. It's hard to choose because the polished will look nice with the bonnet up and shiney bits everywhere but the black will look good for just looking all out bad lol.
  12. Cheers bud Nice aren't they, very tempting. Thanks Luc, almost complete but getting there I did think this actually, it would match the rest as nothing is polished inside. Even though I've just bought polished rings for the speedo dials I'll see how it looks. Thanks mate think they'll be easier to keep clean I suppose but I do think the black will suit better
  13. Im currently looking at getting some LM20s made up and dont know whether to stay with the black stealthy look or go for fully polished. With the new colour I quite like the black -
  14. Ive been busy putting the interior back together and have finaly finished, from a stripped out shell a few months ago to this im so happy. And thanks to Rob @ DAW for doing such a fantastic job on the flocked dash and DAVE for wrapping the pannels in suede, they look awesome together!!
  15. Thanks Not enough transmission fluid, the cause of most autobox failures. The fluid level stick isn't very clear for giving a reading.
  16. That looks an amazing finish, good work looks fantastic mate.
  17. I was looking at this a while back, a handy bit of kit to have but pricey.
  18. Hi, I'm tidying up the wiring behind the dash and have given up with the mess that's just an accident waiting to happen. I've pulled the loom out from the stereo that then goes down to the passenger side footwell and under the seat into what I believe is the stock amp? So upon removing the stock amp and the wires coming to/from that and the headunit, what new part of loom do I need for cars without the oem amp/sub in order to just plug my headunit straight in? Basically I wanna get rid of all the stock stuff and start again with aftermarket but still need the connector which the headunit plugs to? Hope this makes sense Thanks.
  19. This has got to be one of my favourite Supra's, everytime I see a picture of it
  20. I'm no expert but could it be the control arm on the actual heater box moved? It's kind of like a threaded rod with a clip that clamps the rod in the desired position to control the flap that let's the cold/hot air in?
  21. 0 gauge for the starter and 2 gauge for the fuse box.
  22. Such shocking workmanship, how some people have the cheek I don't know. Glad it's being sorted and hats off to Matt for taking it on!
  23. You sir are an idiot! Take your views and opinions elsewhere this is a car forum for car enthusiasts that like it or not, modify their cars to their own taste.
  24. One of the few stock Supra's that's been done properly, amazing!!
