  1. Nice base for a project car, I've seen this up SRD alot of work's gone into that shell. In for the updates!!
  2. http://www.apexi-usa.com/store/exhaust/conrol-valves.html
  3. The one I saw was cable operated that was controllable from inside the cabin, I'll try find the link.
  4. Has anybody here ran one of these before and does it benefit having one? My main concern is the noise of running a 4" hks ti exhaust in the evenings. Im not too bothered about day time driving around the country side but through built up areas at night which is why I looked into these as it saves keep pulling over to put in/out a bung in the back box. Another concern is with high powered cars will the valve restrict too much gas flow even when open fully? Or even fail due to the heat and pressure? Cheers
  5. I could but with the other project on the go I haven't got the time or extra cash. Just want this gone now.
  6. Much prefer the black carpet, the interior looks so clean.
  7. Not measured but a quick search on Google says: Length - 4515mm Width - 1811mm
  8. That's never good to see. Glad your both ok and the damage can be repaired.
  9. Pretty gutted, I think I'm just gunno wait until the Mkiv is finished I can't be bothered with anymore cars at the moment. Thanks anyway bud.
  10. They look awesome mate
  11. Yep had it looked at, seems the noise is the big end banging around on the crank journal. A huge waste of £1400, I'll have to see what I can get on eBay I suppose.
  12. The one in the pic is Grigio Telesto, Avlon is a darker metallic paint.
  13. Same as the colour I went for first time round, check my garage there's a few pictures there.
  14. It certainly does its job, some great benefits listed on their website. I was very tempted to go with silver as I rarely see it but after alot of decision I went with black
  15. Cheers Westy, it brings that whole interior so much more up to date. Just be careful removing the old wheel I almost broke my nose when it finally gave in!
  16. Thanks Mark! The exhaust manifold, wastegates and turbine housing has been sent off for zircotech coating and should be back soon, the downpipe and screamer pipes will also be zircotech coated but the engine needs to be in the car first to make the pipes and line everything up. Can't wait to see them finished in this coating
  17. Not much nof an update, but I bought a TRD wheel months ago and finally got round to fitting it, once the old wheel popped off!!! Looks 10 times better than the stock wheel.
  18. Well done Matt, and congrats to you Russ you've been through hell with this car. Looking forward to seeing it about
  19. Good news and bad news, bad news is the engine sounds like all the bottom ends have gone or a valve bouncing around inside the cylinder. Good news is I canceled the insurance still within the 14 day's and got a £86 refund Will be putting this on eBay later starting at 99p I suppose
  20. Thanks for the kind words mate and for taking the time to read through..!! I'm looking forward to bringing it over to Bluewater. Not long now
