  1. That's what I thought, being a tire specialist I would have thought they could do it
  2. It was Watlin's that done mine but they said they wouldn't fit on the machine. I should get them balanced to be safe.
  3. That's great thanks! Also when I had the mickeys fitted they didn't balance them, apparently drag radials don't need balancing is that true?
  4. I think they probably will rub mate but regardless of how soft or hard the suspension they should be a whole lot better than the Yokohama's. I need a 10mm spacer really but they will require longer wheel studs I think?
  5. Your not wrong there, I would still like to do a whole interior retrim but likewise that's another stage Cheers dude
  6. Thanks Alex, it's getting there I'm running out of things to do now. It will be good to see yours too, maybe next year at another huge mega meet!
  7. Thanks mate, although if they did sell I would have to make my mind up quick lol. I may leave it until next year now or at least once the cars running as custom wheels take a while to manufacture.
  8. Wow those wheels look awesome mate! Gotta love coming home to delivered goods
  9. Cheers mate Yeah no worries I'll save them and bring them over one day Cheers bud, I do wanna change the wheels next year but for now they will do. I do think black wheels with drag radials look nice though!
  10. The wheels should tuck if I run a smaller spacer but I can't have the suspension too soft unless I modify under the arch and cut more metal out. The front drops about 30mm with the engine in but it should be ok as that's how I had it before. Just no speed bumps or steep gradients!
  11. I fitted my new tires today!! They make my old 315s look tiny :d Once the engine is in to drop the front a bit the stance should look spot on, I'll maybe swap the 20mm spacers on the rear for 10mm just to be sure there is no rubbing when the car squats.
  12. That's exactly my thinking, black is a bit boring against that colour now. The wheels make the car imo, they need to be special
  13. Where did you get the badge? Also can we lower your car at the weekend pleeease?
  14. They're nice, I was originally planning to go the classics/LM route but think something else would suit my car better. Plus those ones require a spacer on the rear. Something along the lines of these I think would look quite tasty -
  15. Sorry mate too many things going on at once I should stick to updating one thing at a time lol The 1400cc are just being released, can always upgrade them later. Don't want too much power with running the engine in. As for the wheels I haven't decided yet, I'll get the Rotas powder coated for now as they look a bit worn out then next year swap them for something else. Something big, wide, dishy and shiney Edit: And my gearbox is only rated to 800RWHP
  16. Exactly my thoughts lol, can't wait to get them on the wheel. Still deciding on what colour to get them powder coated. I think they're 1100cc I'm not sure
  17. I would use the proper titanium heat wrap Mark, it can handle double the heat of regular fibreglass wrap and is also easier to use and doesn't itch your skin either. Also with the fibreglass wrap you are infact meant to seal it afterwards with a special silicone based spray for it to last.
  18. I replaced all my heater controls with blue LEDs, not a job I would want to do again tbh but it looks good. Just wish I had gone for white instead.
