    Hi and welcome, Is it an auto or 5/6 speed manual? Do you have any pictures of the car?

    This is what I planned to do with mine but was recommended not to, I suppose surface spray in winter wouldn't be good for it dust etc.

    An open filter induction is only beneficial once making big power as the bigger intercoolers keep the temps sufficient. Although the warmer less dense air entering the turbo will sacrifice power the larger surface area of the cylindrical filters will make up for it. It probably all works out the same to be honest.

    The only thing I can think of is a relay that was once there for the fog light mod was powered from dash lighting feed then the spare contacts on the relay have also been connected up to an ignition feed somewhere causing the relay to fail when switched on?

    Was it a new loom or you replaced it with another used one?

    I have shimless buckets, less pieces to go wrong.

    Not in Stock size, be careful when ordering though cause they make a 1/2" size too.

    My overdrive gear went after doing a long pull and that's with torque reduced on shifts too.

    Yeah its not very pleasant, although the smell is wearing away so is the dye around the edges. I would rather just get a vgc second hand or new carpet and save the trouble.

    That's true, although after dying my carpet black and using too much dye the car smells like permanent marker pens lol. I do prefer the leather though it's so much easier to keep clean and looking fresh.

    Pretty basic, but clever nevertheless. I'll have to remember that one if ever I were to be in a simular scenario.

    I believe the electrical connectors are different too as when I bought a built box before none of the connectors matched up, they said it's because the box was for a jspec car as I never stated my car was uk spec when ordering. Could be wrong though.

    When I done mine, I was looking into getting the whole lot carbon skinned for something a bit different. Unfortunately time and money wasn't on my side so I just had it painted.

    This is a superb idea, I just briefly flicked through random episodes and they're well worth watching. Something I'll be doing in my spare time as the episodes go on. Well done and thanks for sharing

    Yeah you are right and to be honest I've probably already crossed that line of it not being streetable. I won't know until I drive it I'm the same it would be in the boot as a precaution until it's needed. If Ryan says it's fine then I have nothing to worry about.

    Lol it really is a great kit combo. Thanks the colour doesnt look that great on the Audi's but as soon as I saw it on the supra it worked wonders. It's getting harder and harder to build a totally unique car that still looks great.

    One day it might be possible That's good to know, maybe not run higher boost settings with the bung in perhaps.
