  1. Thanks Luc Cheers it's not actually that big just the bay is to small
  2. Thanks mate was well worth the extra time scale doing it properly!
  3. Yep all the hot side is Zircotech coated and the compressor housing is chromed mate. Cheers bud
  4. Glad to see the turbo now with plenty of clearance http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=197255&d=1423850154
  5. I doubt you will get far on SF mate, it's basically run by MVP. Best of just mailing them direct they wouldn't want their reputation shit on.
  6. I purchased some billet timing covers from them recently, first off the top cover didn't fit and sat wonky, then they wouldn't fit over my Titan cam gears. For almost a grand I expected better, on top of that I had to pay extra in shipping charges and duties for the one off improved 3D covers which I have to say are spot on and fit like stock. But as Nicholas said their quality isn't as good as it was once known for and I definitely wouldn't get anything else from them.
  7. Don't Titan sell a complete drag pack that works with stock arches?
  8. I think I went wrong when I started taking note of everything I spent, I won't be doing that again but it will be something to look back and laugh at. To tell the truth I'm more excited to see it all come together and hear it than driving it. But it will totally be worth it when it's finished and I can look at it as an achievement and a reminder never to take on such a big project again!
  9. Thanks mate, credit goes to Simon at Autobody solutions!
  10. Cheers Luc! Won't be long Cheers Jake Basically welded some more metal around the top so it's one piece mate. The washers tend to protect the paint once the nuts are clamped down but would still mark it over time I should imagine. Yep everything should fall in to place perfectly now so not long at all I would think
  11. No it will be fine If it was standard suspension then I would imagine there would be clearance issues.
  12. He sure has done a good job it looks OEM. You can't only im allowed them They're a weird size iirc. Cheers dude

  14. Should be all go to the finish line now no more set backs Thanks guys I'm looking forward to the pics of baldy's work and the engine being back where it belongs
  15. Little update, The car has been arranged to be picked up from Baldy's on Monday. He has modded the strut which looks awesome and I won't have any worries of the turbo coming into contact with it. He has also re constructed the tops of the struts as there was risk of cracking from the stress of the coilovers. The hole for the intercooler piping was also cut so once the car's back the engine should fit nice and snug and work can be continued for the fuel lines, exhaust, wiring etc. I've also got a LHD brake master cylinder which Lee is gunno use instead to insure the brake lines are well away from any heat source. I'll update with some pictures soon
  16. Cheers mate I knew what I wanted from the start so it was no biggie for me
  17. Any wide body you have to chop the original arch out to allow for suspension travel. If your not planning to sell it than it'd down to if you can live with yourself knowing you've modified a clean stock car beyond the point of no return.
  18. If your referring to my work the car was spot on when it left my hands. None of these problems are down to me.
  19. I should be at blue water when it's done. Yeah, that's true. Look forward to it too mate!
