  1. WHAT! Well thats ruined my plans. So how do I go about insuring a van and a supra at the same time using my 1 years no claims ive just built up on the car I have now?
  2. Ok so whats the catch? What about in the area of thanet?
  3. LOL Look at this in germany! http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3gjve_provotekk-real-widebody-supra-mkiv_auto?ralg=meta2-only#from=playrelon-1
  4. Well im not reading all that but I get the jist. Gunno have to find a good insurance company that will insure the supra and van on same policy if that possible.
  5. My dream colour for a supra is kawasaki green
  6. Whats fronting? Ive always been one to just rush in not knowing what im doing and paying shed loads of cash
  7. Thanks mate very helpfull as usuall. I am warming more and more to an auto. I might start viewing some these next few weeks as in june I should get my 1st years no claims from my astra then I can sell it and swap the insurance straight over. Also im buying a van for work in the next few weeks shall I carry on building the no claims up with the van and put the supra in someone elses name would this be a logical idea?
  8. Anyone willing to let me test both
  9. But it was only because I have a manual car now and thought auto`s were slow and boring to drive and there was no specific reason for wanting a manual except I just thought they were better. Driving experiences from both?
  10. Gee I like the second one. Must have missed that going through the for sale section. Good price too will be able to pay for half the insurance with the change. And its not too far from me I might view it this weekend Unless its sold just read more and think he might have broke it up by now..
  11. For what 6k or 12k? I think as ABZ said the auto box is a marvlous bit of kit if im not planning on going for serious HP. It might be the better option for just something to drive while a save for something fast.
  12. If its a 0-60 outrun I would say near to 1000hp if its on street tires. These GTRs launch HARD! If its down the 1/4 I reckon 600hp might just cut it..
  13. Ive tried searching but cant find anything maybe im doing it wrong. Well the main things I enjoy about driving is how my car looks, what it sounds like and what it goes like. Iknow with manual you go drop down a gear and floor it but dont the auto`s do that too when you floor it? Ive never driven an auto but apparently they seem to chuck you back in the seat more?? I wanted to spend about 6k on one that looks half decent just to get used to the feel of these cars before I get a fast one. I know a decent looking manual is double this so is it really worth it just to start off in?
  14. Now ive been looking at supra`s for sale for quite some time now and am stuck on which transmission to go for. The car must be a turbo. My main goal was to have a TT6 and slowely upgrade it but certain factors like noisy gearbox and heavy clutch and price difference etc have pushed me more towards an auto. I dont plan on upgrading to serious power or anything its just to look nice and have a bit of fun in until I buy something with serious power. I know the autos have manual and sport mode so can this be just as fun to drift etc. Any opinions on both will be much help...
  15. Actually someone on here was selling a brand new complete short block from toyota not too long ago, try browsing the for sale section you might be in luck bud.
  16. No worries, got some brand new top of the range pistons if you decide to build the block
  17. Its a 2JZGE and has about 40,000 miles on it. Very good condition just needs internals and freeze plugs
  18. I got just a block with mains.
  19. Ive now put these on ebay for £560 but will sell on here for £520 ONO
  20. NOW THATS HOW TO DO IT ^^^^ Started training today and JESUS, I cant believe how weak ive become since having a few years off! Started off today just doing abs and chest with light weights just to get the fibres moving again. Im not going into the weight I was lifting but lets just say it was an embarrassment! I knew I would be weaker but not to the point of feeling like a helpless salmon getting stuck under what looked like washers on either end of the bar. At one point In my life I could nearly deadlift 3x my bodyweight being a short guy so hopefully I can get back up there and start posting some gains in results over the next few months!
  21. Nice car. Ive got that head unit too!
  22. Whats the stock 0-60 time on the NA supra?
  23. lol I know. I cant eat tuna or chicken in bread on its own too dry so I have alot of mayo with it. I know chicken and tuna etc are the best form of protien but calories come from anything as long as your getting enough of it. Its like saying dont eat rice stick to pasta. Its the people that train then eat 1 meal then go out clubbing all weekend and still put on weight that gets me. I do eat alot though and it is mainly tuna but for dinner is meat, spuds, veg most nights and breakfast is usually just a couple of bananas and a protien shake. Ive been a fan of the gomad diet too which is Gallon Of Milk A Day. Although a gallon seems alot but I have a glass with every meal and that usually about 5 pints! Another good meal is fresh mince meat with pasta and loads of cheese. Or ham cheese and onion omelette. These are all meals I eat often and give me enough nutrients to last in the gym. Everyones different tho..
