  3. I`ll let you know after I pick my supra up next week but I would love to go to something like this if theres still a place...
  4. Gee you work fast! When will the project be finished?
  5. Ha, a Richard head. Dont be so harsh on yourself im sure its all in your mind If theres still a space at the end of this month and I have the extra money after buying, and insuring my car etc then count me in.
  6. True, but I never did say that its too far for me or its a bad club lol. Was just saying I thought it was closer to me. And yeah I do want to meet other fellow club members it will be a good. Just dont want to travel all that way and be singled out for being the newbie
  7. Sorry miss read, its best to ask someone whos done a NA-T but personaly I think it will cost a little more than £2000 but thats just my opinion mate.
  8. Hi bud, I would say stay with the twins and maybe upgrade to BPU good for 450bhp and be happy. You can easily spend £10,000+ getting to 600bhp and even then it may not be reliable.
  9. Personally I would replace the rods whatever the hp if I was doing a rebuild but its all personal prefrence, to upgrade your rods is always a good investment and piece of mind but can the money be better spent somewhere else if your not planning on mega numbers? Normal rods should be ok up to 700hp I would say...
  10. I sold my BC pros for about £500. Not a bad rod apparently can take 300hp per rod but not sure if its proven... Some people have had 1000hp on stocks but for how long???
  11. LOL Do you know what I knew it was santa pod but thought this was a place in donnington park lol. I would have been typing this in google getting very confused. I`ll search now how far this strip is from me. It is nice I went to view but unfortanately was raining hard so I didnt get the idea of acceleration but it sounds great. Picking it up on the 23rd and cant wait EDIT: I thought it was closer than that im 3 hours away...
  12. Sorry just clicked.. Yeah I know despite the past im not gunno sit back and cry over it because ive always wanted a supra. I have got money issues so has probably 90% of the population so im just gunno forget previous posts and start again when I get my sup. Oh and its here just incase you think im chattin.... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?266433-UK-Auto-Single-syvecs-580bhp-£8500-ono EDIT: Can you not pay on the gate? Cause nothing is certain but if I wake up and decide to go then I would have...
  13. What do you mean? EDIT: Got ya now, see other thread.

    Skimming!

Secure a belt sander upside down whilst holding the plenum firmly against it whilst checking with a straight edge occasionaly then feather the edges with a craft file. Use a 80pt paper. If your good with your hands you should find it a doddle mate. EDIT: If you bin i`ll pay for postage so you can use my bin
  17. When the insurance company asks me if its garaged or parked on a driveway I say, "whats cheaper"? Obviously your not gunno leave it on your drive if its cheaper to park it in the garage. "Im sorry Sir the system doesnt work like that". Just do hundreds of quotes see where its cheaper to park, leave over night etc and stand by that...
  18. Ive just payed £3646 for a 2.0 turbo astra. Im 23 without any no claims bonus.
