  1. Ok i`ll check again tomorrow but it looked pretty ok to me. Thanks anyway fella
  2. I have read it but just thought as its positioned over the trans cooler on the bottom of the rad I thought it was connected to transmission tempreture sensor or something. And as ive taken my box off I thought it must be sensing no fluid or something and switching it on. Any other reason why its randomly just coming on as it sounds awfull and the engines still cold!
  3. Can anyone tell me what this fan is for as mine comes on as soon as I switch the ignition on and stays on. All I have removed is the auto box because its being repaired and aircon but didnt think this has nothing to do with it but I maybe wrong. Im not starting the engine btw.
  4. Nice So im wondering if the veilside arches im planning on fitting will take a 345 tire or can I have the arches rolled then fit the veilsides?
  5. What is the widest wheels you can fit after having this done? Any pictures?
  6. I had this problem! And then it started flickering as I was driving then realised my boot was open slightly. After shutting it the light came back on again shortly after whilst giving it the beans but then goes off after turning the ignition off then on again?
  7. Ok thanks. Its just I have my transmission off at the minute so I cant check which lights turn off once started and wondered if the oil level/pressure lights was because theres no transmission fluid.
  8. Sorry to bring an old thread up but what lights should be displayed with the key in the on postion without engine started? Also is the low oil level/pressure for the transmission too? Thanks
  9. I see it (goes and makes another coffee).
  10. Look at that! Exellent work mate, what a transformation Where did you put your diagnosis box if you had one?
  11. Haha I cant either but i`ll get to that bit eventually I`ll have a word with ryan and see whats what then I know what can go!
  12. Well theres 3 new wires that come from the passenger side grommet and one goes to the intercooler piping just before the tb and one goes to the top rad hose and the other is oil temp under the intake somewhere. Heres a pic you can see on the top rad hose a sensor -
  13. But the syvecs has its own coolent temp sensor going to it. I think the oem ecu is just controlling the auto box.
  14. So I have the same idea as you, hodge removing any un wanted wiring. I have a syvecs fitted and have a lead that goes to thetop rad hose from the syvecs, can I do away with the other 2 sensors or leave the one with one wire for the dash? Chances are the origonal sensor is not plugged in to anything right?
  15. Im in the same position as you so let us know what you decide to get and i`ll see if it matches what I order. Need to order a good pair of wire stripers and a soilder iron too...
  16. Hi mate, good to see another member from Kent
  17. These should be strong enough I would have thought mate, as long as the screw is as tight as it can be theres no way it should slip out. Looking good anyway
  18. Can anyone confirm if it is safe to unplug the battery?? Or can it reset anything such as syvecs?

  20. Now I know this is an old thread, but will disconecting the battery effect anything on the car such as alarm, syvecs or any other electrical device? Just wanted to know as its not worth starting a new thread to ask a question like this. Thanks.
  21. I`ll PM him. I would like to mate its just I remember reading somewhere that a full upgrade to 6 speed including parts is around £4000, thhen theres the price of a high performance clutch on top of that. Dont get me wrong if my car was manual I would love it, I just think its a lot of money for what it is...
  22. Oh really? Ok so does anyone else on this forum have one of these or will I be the first?
