  1. Just look at the positive side, it could have been worse...
  2. Is this the one http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/4039707.htm
  3. Because I wanted to remove my engine to when I get my car sprayed but the ecu's are all wired in which means cutting and numbering then soldering them all back up. Will be much easier if theres just a plug to undo.
  4. How much does this cost? I currently have my syvecs running the engine then the stock ecu running the box which to be honest I would like to do away with...
  5. Well when I had my set of JE pistons and BC rods the most weight difference between the heaviest and lightest combo was something stupid like .18 of a gram. Im pretty sure this will not effect an engine reving to 10k rpm let alone 8.5k. Your best bet is getting the crank balanced and matching the pistons and rods as best as you canto give an even weight over all 6.
  6. Dont they come balanced? Or are we talking stock?
  7. Errr let me think lol....
  8. Good on you mate I hope it goes well for you, it must feel crazy
  9. Are they not £100 + £10 delivery?
  10. Good question, I would like to know this also.
  11. I had my syvecs cut torque on gear changes and still managed to destroy the box after 2 days. Suppose it just depends on how hard you drive it and/or how unlucky you are.
  12. About 2.5k in total with high stall and shipping + vat etc.
  13. How much is the full upgrade for a TH400? Because these box's I can get for nothing or have they got some special components inside? I know its just a matter of welding a new bellhousing on right or is there more to it?
  14. I cant tell you mate I just drive it. Ive got the dyno sheet if that helps. To be honest I dont even know how to explain what turbo ive got, I think the .70 is the compressor housing. Its this one - http://www.aptuning.net/Garrett_GT35R_Turbo_p/grt-tbo-006.htm As for the transmission everyone I have spoke to says the Titan is a stronger box.
  15. I am running a garett gt35R with a .70 undivided housing on a stock auto box and it broke after 2 days of me owning the car at 579 bhp. When my builds done I will be putting in the Titan auto trans with a 3200 stall and shift kit with a couple of coolers. The stock auto box lastest this power for a couple of years I believe and many have had much longer but I like to know its reliable and wont leave you stranded. Go for a Titan if your going for that power and want to stay auto
  16. Looking good matey, Seeing that just makes me wanna pull my finger out and get mine done.
  17. The turbo should be just fine as Nitrous Oxide is a power producer on its own, meaning it doesn't need anything else to produce power except for the extra fuel delivery to help cool the cylinders. As why many NA engines can run it without the need for a forced induction system to supply the engine with more air. Just a thought I could be wrong tho...
  18. Ok thanks guys so if I have two sets of sidelights I can just remove one set right?
  19. Can anyone tell me what the small clear bulbs are that go in to the front indicator lense next to the orange bulb? I realise there side lights but doesnt the main headlight have side lights meaning these can come out if wanted? Im just asking becasue one of the wires seems to have snapped off at the connector and theres not enough cable to strip and solder back on. Thanks
  20. Well I got kind of excited until I read the title again...
  21. Can anyone please explain to me if I will loose ignition retard if I completely remove the TRAC ecu and all of its components? Or is it the syvecs that controls this? Also is the traction control on the syvecs different to the built in trac control?
