  1. Apon my quest to get rid of all the rust on my car I have found that the strip of metal that runs underneath the radiator is quite rusty and corroded. Im not sure of the name of this panel and how I go about replacing it as its spot welded in at each end. If I get a new one can I just chop out the rusty bit and weld the new bit on with a smear of body sealent?
  2. Yes core plugs/freeze plugs same thing
  3. For the sake of a few quid I would definatley replace the plugs to inspect for any kind of debris that may have got stuck over the years. The best cleaning method would be a caustic soda bath but im not sure if anyone does this these days I think they just jet wash it. You might need it line bored if your changing the bearings but im not 100% sure.
  4. You wont gain much displacement at all from going with a bigger piston its just mainly for how warn your cylinders are. I would go 86.5mm to avoid removing too much material between cylinders. Are you going the full treatment for the block, plateu honing, line boring etc?
  5. Do any of these head units fit inside the standard dash whole or do you have to trim it at all?
  6. Mine were around £750 after shippin, import tax etc.
  7. Hmmm, prehaps it could possibly be a 1.25bar restrictor ring from who ever had the car previously or was this fitted whilst in your ownership? Is there anyway to tell what it is?
  8. What bar is the restrictor ring thats supposed to be fiitted?
  9. NO! Just no bloody way! I cant believe it, all that hard work your a hell of alot stronger than I am fella I would be devistated mate. Hope all goes well after this mis hap...
  10. I read somewhere that they blew it up or crashed on race day and went bankrupt. Its a shame as that car was TRICK!
  11. You could store them on the moon?
  12. I think it the gas refill point for the aircon mate.
  13. I would be fitting billet mains with any rebuild just for the extra reasurance and space for future boost levels
  14. Has anyone got a part number or a link for the correct size belt as ive seen 3 different part numbers.

    Another EPIC supra

Haha, that exhaust is the funniest thing ive seen in a long time lol
  16. Before putting my trial rear end on I wanted to get everything thats covered by the bumper completely rust free and painted as this cant be done once the bumper is all blended in etc. So basicaly ive done most things except the fuel tank guard which has a gaping hole in it and is a bit on the rusty side. can I just leave this guard off completely as theres a good 200mm from any part of the exhaust and most of the difuser covers the tank anyway. If anyone can give me some information on this or has done this will be great
  17. Yeah cheers ive just finished reading through it. And yeah that will be very nice of you sir
  18. Yeah pretty much that. If anyone has got a clear picture of how much material is cut off will help me out alot.
  19. Has anyone on here done this ^^ there self that can give me some pointers?
