  1. So ive been looking at getting a new radiator but some of them are made specificly for manuals only. Apart from the bottom half of auto radiators having the trans cooler built in is there any other difference or is this why they specify for manuals only? Because ive got a twin box cooler anyway so I can just go with the manual radiator right?
  2. Its funny I was going to make a thread about this the other day. I keep seeing this lately and thought prehaps people just got the wrong tire for wheel but as it happens its no mistake. I really cant get my head around this as the reason for a wide wheel is to get more rubber to the ground right? Why are people getting drawn in to this new wierd craze??????? Im sorry but I just think it looks riduculous tbh.
  3. Yes mate I had a little read up on that cheers. Do you still have to file a bit out of the tensioner to allow the belt to pass without rubbing?
  4. Well I was debating spacers but the main reason I went wide arch was to fit some wider rubber to get some better traction. But spacers could work if they make a 2" version
  5. Firstly let me just say I dont know how to multi quote different people so i'll just say thanks to all of you for your unput towards my decision. I have decided not to bid as much as they are a good price but alot of money to waste for something with thw wrong offset. EvinX have you got veilside arches or stock arches? If anyone has got some wide wheels that will fit snugg in some veilsides let me know and I may be able to do a deal with mine and some cash..
  6. Whats the width of yours? Im looking for 12j rears and 10j fronts.
  7. Well the bloke reckons they were fitted to a supra with veilside arches origonaly but didnt mention if they rubbed or anything. I am kind of on a budget and need a wider wheel to fill the arches im fitting but dont want to waste my money on something that dont fit. Hmmmm just dont know really....
  8. Now why didnt that come up when I typed into google Thanks bud!
  9. Which is the better wheel in peoples opinions? They are both 18" but the Andrews are much wider 12j I believe. Andrews V Rota's
  10. I know there is approx a million threads on this iirc but no one has a specific link to a place that sells the correct belt. Also theres about 4 different part numbers that people have used and am stuck on what one to actually get. If anyone knows can they forward me the link please, Thanks
  11. But there not exactly 12 inches wide are they maybe bigger which is why I wanna compare with these ones...
  12. So the offset can be anywhere from 0 to -10 I take it? Do you know the overall width of the rears?
  13. Im not familier with offsets with certain arches etc do you know what offset would work with the VS arches and I can message him to ask. EDIT: whats the total width of gtr-ds anyone?
  14. I was going to go with gtr-ds but fancy something a little wider if they'll fit...
  15. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180935357567?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Just wondered if these wheels would fit veilside arches. If not how much would they stick out past them?
  16. http://hy-belt.en.alibaba.com/product/450717182-212443279/6PK1865_fan_belt_V_Ribbed_belts_for_OPEL_PEUGEOT.html Can I use this belt?
  17. Thats what I was thinking. Cheers guys
  18. Its dead in the middle about 8" accross and goes from the front to half way back on top. I would like to replace it but thought it would be easier to cut the middle out and spot weld a bit straight on top. Not sure if this is against MOT stuff tho...
  19. But if I get a second hand one with the spot already drilled out then where do I weld the new one in?
