  1. Ive just bought an electric fan kit does anyone know if I can wire this straight from the small aux fan circuit? If not how do I wire into my syvecs?
  2. What is happening here?
  3. Like this? I really wouldn't mind that colour at all, what do you guys think?
  4. Dunno yet, I'll see what colour im feeling in the day Theres no more rust on the car I can see from standing underneith, the rest is in quite good condition. If I do come accross anymore it wont be there for long
  5. A 12lb bottle lasts on average about 4 seconds. Have you seen the fast and furious?????
  6. Lambo grey is nice but I just thought I would be different and go green. Lambo grey is very tempting tho!
  7. Cheers for the nice comments Ive always had green in mind for my dream supra but will still go for other colours. My other choice was Lambo Grey with the bottom of the rear end, spoiler blade and front bumper middle being black. Thoughts? Suggestions?
  8. Lol I suppose so, its personal prefrence really I like the way the auto plants the power down but then again ive always had manuals and it makes a change. Either way your gunno have some fun
  9. Nice! Have you not considered a built auto? Thats what way im going as a 6 speed conversion is just ridiculous money lol.
  10. Getting there mate good stuff, what box you going for?
  11. Thanks for the positive comments guys I havent really settled on a specific colour yet but I have always liked kawasaki green (the one used on the newest models) and thought it would suit the car perfect. Ive seen alot of kawasaki green cars and it seems theres about 20 different shades of that colour but with only the newest one that really looks cool! As for the gearbox im gunno stick with an auto as I want to achieve some fast drag times so im going for the stage 2 titan race box with a high stall torque converter. I didnt really do alot I just finished the main shaping of the wings and filler primered ready for flatting down -
  12. And so it begins... Enjoy Heres the car before I get started - After months of deciding what kind of look to go for I have finally settled on a blended in body look but with an agressive stance at the same time. Im still unsure what rear spoiler to go for yet but for now I have got some extra wide veilside overfenders, blitz skirts, do luck front and trial rear which should get me started. Ive started by cleaning up the under body where the trial rear will be covering as once this is on, its on! So I pulled the rusty old fuel tank cover off and replaced it with another better one with some special treatment to prevent any future rusting, then a healthy few coats of stone chip. Also done the crash bar and from the rear subframe back - Next was the rusty old radiator support panel that was annoying me so that came out and I welded another in with some more protection against corrosion - Well thats that, so now for the arch modification to take the wider wheels - Taking measurements from how much clearence the existing wheels had from the arch, I only needed to take about 30mm off for the wider wheels to clear once the wider arches were on. Now the welding and rust is out the way im going to test fit the body parts to see how they measure up and then get on with some fabricating.
  13. Is that not just because your NA graham?
  14. Are you sure its not the cupra behind you?
  15. Whats he planning on using for power some kind of big block by the looks of the rear tires?
  16. Shouldnt normal operating temps be around 120-150?? Which im not too sure about but I know thats fairly hot to touch. Get yourself a temp gauge mate and im sure someone will correct me on the normal operating temp as I could do with knowing too.
  17. And I was going to start this thread a couple of weeks ago.... Never mind mate we all learn from each others mistakes
  18. Ok cheers guys thats made things easier. And Dave, there is no beans to spill mate, or is there
  19. How easy is it to bolt the doors back on after removing them and whats the best way to unbolt them? Just asking really as it will be alot easier for me to blend the skirts in with the doors off but have been told it takes ages to align them back up properly when bolting them back on. Anyone know?
  20. Its stuck for good mate. Thats a new car job!
