  1. Im thinking of swapping to j specs for the rear to fit some nice wide centrelines on One mans trash.....
  2. Ok i'll look into them thanks. Should think so as long as your not running at the box's limit in the first place it should be fine.
  3. I think its just mainly people that have never been in a car with a high stall that assumes this is the case then word goes around its no good for street use. Everyone that has got a high stall can give nothing but good feedback on them and even people running as high as 4000rpm stall says the car feels totally stock until pulling away on a hill or during kickdown or launching you will notice. MONKEYmark what make of TC you running and what size turbo(s)?
  4. I should buy my paint now then so im stuck with it Theres only one thing that puts me off matte or satin colours and thats people thinking its a DIY spray job out a can thats not gone well. Imo I think it looks menicing and aggresive but thats me. Im gunno give myself untill november to finish as ive been slacking lately
  5. It will be if I ever get it finished mate Yeah I was going with a satin grey with black difuser until I changed my mind again lol. Did you have this problem when choosing a colour for yours or have you always had a colour in mind?
  6. Just thought I'd post a photoshop of my car in a satin black which im really loving at the moment. Makes the car look evil I have no wheels on at the moment so it just looks like a wierd spaceship but overall im impressed with how its looking.
  7. Can anyone give me advice on h choosing a high stall TC. Im not interested in lock ups for fuel mileage or around town drivability I just want something that will let me launch at around 3500rpm. I was reccomended to get a 3200 stall but have heard so many stories of people still only being able to brake boost to 2500rpm and in worse cases 1800rpm! I know Dude is good with this sort of thing but as many of you may be aware he is not here as for certain circumstances. If anyone else can chime in and save me from testing 20 different TC it will save me alot of grief. Cheers
  8. To revive this thread does anyone know where to get a genuine do luck front with undertray? The one I have now is a genuine one but has some spider cracks in the gel coat and I cant be bothered to repair it.

    new here

    Welcome to the club mate!
  11. Lol I knew this thread would be about the wing when I saw the title
  12. I know its alot but I would be throwing money away if I just sat in all day making these for less. I'll have a word Noz as he might be able to make a few up if theres enough interest. You can only get it from one place in Japan and costs over £1000. Would of thought whatever its made from it will be good quality tho for that price. Yeah that looks nice i'll look into it, thanks PM'd
  13. Cheers mate, yeah the black bits will really set this car off or even carbon:D I have alot of plans I just hope it all goes well Also the bracket would cost around £70 if I was to make them as for the time it takes for me and my lack of free time its just not worth it so people will prob be better off making them there self. Im quite happy to give dimensions if you want tho bud!
  14. Cheers guys, An APR wing is just too expensive at this moment in time but have always fancied one of them. I want get a carbon bonnet first
  15. Its easier to see in person but the lower part of the bumper on the right hand side of the exhaust was drooping down slightly which looked a bit stupid and tacky. Also there has been problems in the past with the bumpers cracking at high speed from the lower part catching the air like a massive parachute, which I dont fancy happening after all the work ive put into this. I like TRD better also, the stock one makes the whole car look too rounded and boring imo.
  16. Fantastic! Awesome work David despite the set backs, you got there in the end fella well done
  17. Well I have made some brackets up today, see here - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?275510-Another-project-begins&p=3490429&highlight=trial+rear+brackets#post3490429 I basically copied the ones from the thread mentioned, but added a bent edge on one of the sides as I didnt like the design of them and thought they looked a bit flimsy against side wobble. Unfortunatley these took me a long time just to make just one set, as I dont have the proper equipment for this type of thing and dont currently have the time to make multiple sets but if you would like the dimensions I would be happy to help
  18. I thought the water temp sensor was screwed into the top water neck?
  19. I have one already mate Made some brackets up after work today for the trial rear as I didnt like the way it was sagging down on the left. Also changed the spoiler to see what looks better. Opinions? I might just stick with the TRD as I dont like the shape of the stock one from certain angles. EDIT: Please excuse the crudety of the brackets as I dont have the proper bending or cutting equipment so it was just a quick lash up. Before the brackets - With brackets (and stock spoiler)- Another thing, I will be getting another Do-luck bumper as mine is a bit old and I want something fresh but I cant seem to find one with the undertray? Is this important to have as the one I have now has it and was fixed to the rad support panel from it also.
  20. I might just stick with the Do-luck for now as it still looks nice and keeps the car looking aggresive. Still not sure what spoiler to go for yet whether to go stock or stay trd?
  21. That looks well smart, im starting to like the all black look lately
