  1. Have you got some sort of fixing clips for these as im still bamboozled on how im going to fit mine?
  2. Well im just trying to find out basically what pipe I need from the intercooler to manifold to avoid cutting the bumper like here - This is the pipe thats there now joining to a kind of long "S" shaped one into the manifold - Does anyone know what pipe I need? Thanks
  3. Have you got these in stock? If so I would like one please
  4. Yeah they look ok. I checked the circuit from the fuse holders to the headlight connector and theres continuety but I will have to wait until i get a multimeter to check if theres anything shortin out along the line before I start unwrapping the loom. Does anyone else have headlight conversion to confirm the box's make a noise or not?
  5. Everything fixed except for headlights now Thanks to this thread - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?93662-Indicators-not-working I had the wrong plug coming out the hazard switch from when I pulled the dash out But swapped the plugs and I have indicators, dash lights, sidelights, main beam everything. Just the headlights now, its a 6k bulb conversion kit and it may be to do with that I dont know. I did notice the 2 box's under the headlights were making a kind of whining noise before they blue the fuses but dont know if that normal. Well im half way to fixing this problem now so thats a good sign
  6. Just to update I had a liitle spent the past couple of hours lookin for any melted wires etc but nothing. Also if it helps there is continuety from both fuses to both headlamp connectors on positive and earth. As for the indicators the fuse named (turn) in the footwell is ok. Just connected battery and tested everything and it goes - Indicators flash once on disarming the alarm once battery reconnected. Sidelights work along with instrument cluster lights. Headlights not work but can hear a click on and off. Main beam works with blue warning dash light. Indicators not work, no clicking noise, no dash indicator warning lights. Tried hazards and instrument cluster light went out along with side lights and blown the (panel) fuse in footwell.
  7. True! I just cant understand it mate. I'll let you know what the multimeter reads when I test it.
  8. I have just ordered one off ebay mate so I dont want to touch anything just yet incase I melt anything else. Im hoping it is just the lights or even better some dodgy fuses. I think its best to wait until I get the multimeter first as this will save me some grief.
  9. Yes the whole fuse mate, infact when I pulled them out the plastic kind of crumbled in my hand and was quite brittle both of them. Thats what I thought which is why I was just thinking prehaps some moisture has ot into the fuses where I havent had it shut properly while I had the loom out for a few days. It seems wierd that the whole fuse would just melt.,
  10. I dont have a multimeter but I think i'll get one before I start diagnosing the problem as it sounds a handy bit of kit to have. I know as ive said in other threads im just an idiot really I just cant keep my busy hands from touching stuff and tend to ruin it. If worst comes to worse i'll take it to an auto electrician as im sure this sort of thing is breakfast to them but i'll try do it myself first as it could be just a trapped wire. Thanks for the heads up mate
  11. Looks very clean mate nice pics
  12. Ah! Basicaly you need to pay up a small fee of £10 to access all the behind the scenes goodies on this forum But the link I sent you leads to a guy called David P (a transmission god on the forum!) and he can rebuild your box to take as much power as you need for a price you cant afford not too!
  13. Gearbox - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/group.php?discussionid=90&do=discuss
  14. If I knew mate I would come and help you but all this injector stuff is new to me, im used to working on older cars with carburetters and stuff. Im no good at technical stuff like that but I would of guessed changing the ecu would sort it. Hope you get this fixed soon buddy.
  15. Ok thanks i'll have a look. Only thing is my headlights are aftermarket 6k kit with loads of different wires.
  16. Yeah thats a bit out the way, Doh! I was thinking of looking on the back of the fuse board at which wires come from the fuses that are blowing and run down the wire to see if anything looks dodgy. Its only the 2 headlight fuses that were melted but I think the indicators fuse is inside the car im not sure. The thing is I cant understand is why there not just blown as they are completely melted. Also for the indicators there are no bulbs lighting up but should I still here the clicking noise if its just the fuse gone?
  17. I said that not long ago lol, but seriously, is it?
  18. Ha seems that way all these GTR threads popping up, no dis respect I would be on every forum if I had one
  19. Yeah but its mostly supra's
  20. Ahh I see i'll try that and have a close inspection see if I can find the bugger! Im by Margate matey, you?
  21. Cheers mate, I already have put everything back to how it was even put the battery back in the front as everything was before. I havent cut anything just basically unwrapped and rewrapped then put back. I only repaired 2 wires that were broke but then again I dont know if they were cut previously to install the HID kit or anything. I'll have ago and if no luck i'll get an auto electrician to sort it.
  22. That looks awesome mate nice colour too.
  23. I know you did but im an idiot. I will have another look when I get time to see if there are any breaks and trace back each one. If not can I just simply buy I new front loom and clip it in as easy as it sounds?
  24. Got ya! Im pretty sure thats connected as none of this has been touched but i'll have a look.
