I have a 6k kit and noticed the other day when reconnecting them the clips are the wrong way too. I just thought it was my kit and thought it was kind of strange.

I have the ac rad removed but I dont have any electrical fans just the viscous fan. Can I use a normal oil temp sensor for the trans fluid to keep a close eye on it?

I have the stock cooler at the side and was going to mount the twin srd coolers right behind my intercooler. I was only thinking I need fans as im going with a 3800 stall converter and thought things might get a little hotter than usual than if I had a stock converter. But you may be able to correct me on that Also its not going to be a drag car but I will most probably do some dragging with it at some point.

Carbon burns? Yes at some degree of heat carbon will burn but not from the silly tempereture a back box reaches. If your back box was glowing red then yeah lol. Besides my difuser was touching the whole underneith of my back box and never had problem. I would put my guess on the aux belt slipping mate.

Ive been searching everywhere and cant seem to find an exhaust that exits dead straight out the rear of the car and not at an angle like most. The reason being is the exit is slightly touching the trial rear bumper I have on and just dont look right at all. Does a striaght exit one even exist?

Well im definately not going to make it this month, AGAIN! If I get my skull in gear I might make next month with a bit of luck.

Should have thought of this earlier but I had the whifbitz twin box with a carbon rear difuser and fitment was tight but nice. I can provide a picture if needed mate

Yeah sounds good to me mate and yeah as long as you cant see the dent when its on it should be ok. I doubt mines perfect I know it can do with a clean.

If I get a bung can I fit it myself? I think yours may suit mine a little better as mine has quite a slant to it. EDIT: Is the bung easily removed and fitted?

Hmmm true, mine is a bit on the wonky side tho as the picture in this thread - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?277103-Exhaust-swap Even just a little straighter and it should clear the bumper. But you say you have a modified mid pipe so how will it fit on a standard mid pipe?

Cheers mate. In the picture there it look like it exits a little straighter than mine. It seems i'll have to look into this further as most exhausts for the supra exit at a slant which is just going to interfere with the bumper.

Its strange because in the list of upgrades in the advert for the car when I bought from caseys its said it has a 4" down and mid pipe but the whole system is 3". Slightly gutted but what can you do... I will look into a full system after christmas but for now I guess the back box will be good enough. Its only mainly to clear the rear bumper need something that exits straight and not at an angle.

I might go 4" otherwise i'll be kicking myself when I upgrade the rest of the exhaust to a 4" So if anyone has a 4" exhaust I could be interested...

I currently have a whifbitz 3" twin box exhaust on my car at the moment but am looking for a single box, mainly for more flow and noise I have been offered in exchange for my exhaust a 3" xs power single box exhaust. Does anybody have experience with these and will it give me more noise and more power? Also will I need a remap for the car to run properly? Thanks

Ordered! As soon as they recieve my box then its being sent out. Oh and waiting for my new srd rad too but thats it should be good to go then
