    Yeah engine was running but only getting a cold reading. But its hard to tell as one side is dry and the other side has fluid on.

    I have this problem also. Would both lights come up if the transmssion fluid is low also? I have a new box and filled up with fluid but cant get a proper reading on the dip stick.

    See the bloke gave me this when I bought the car and said you can either find a friendly test centre or go through the hassle of fitting then removing every MOT. Just cant see how it would fit if its a 3" pipe right through on my current set up.

    Ok i'll try that tomorrow But the handbrake lights still on And this being on will cause the red triangle to be on also.... I'll see if Ryan can see if everythings running properly then if it is im not bothered about a light

    On the second day of driving the car I noticed the sqaure triangle flashing and staying on after heavy boosting until engine switched off then on again. Not sure when in overdrive would I need to be driving or can I test this in neutral with engine running?

    Bonnets open but thats it but I got someone to press the white switch thing down and its still there. Unless I didnt connect the wire back up properly to the bottom of the bonnet switch cause its a strange one to put back together. Would the bonnet switch cause the lights?

    Ive mailed Ryan to see if this is something he can see through the syvecs or not. - - - Updated - - - I took the lead off the sensor and put back on but havent removed the actuall sensor itself.

    Both connectors I can see are connected not sure if there are anymore hidden that I cant see...

    Thanks i'll try that! I'll have another look under the gear surround to see if anythings come off.

    The air bag light has always been on since I got the car. Dont know if its disconnected or not but the chap I bought the car off filled the petrol tank up for me to say sorry he couldnt get the light switched off... - - - Updated - - - It should be, I have had the gear surround off a couple of times is it possible that its come off or is it under the car?

    The fluid level is spot on the MAX line.

    I have moved it backwards and forwards a couple of times on the drive but not driven it properly. Everythings been connected before start up. - - - Updated - - - Ok i'll check now...

    Yeah the handbrake one too as well as the square one in speedo. Brake fluid should be ok as its been untouched and was ok before.

    I was just wondering as I need an MOT but I have a decat pipe from the single turbo setup. I still have the origonal cat but does this still fit with an upgrade like this? Or will the car pass with just one cat after the down pipe if that fits?

    I have the 2 (!) on the dash light up since making some changes to the car. Is this normal that it senses something been unplugged and changed? Ive changed the gearbox and radiator and had the loom out also and battery disconected for some time.

    Everythings back on track now I just need to tidy the car up a bit get it MOT'd then trailered to the spray shop then I can start posting pictures again

    Ok thanks that makes sense. Just to update I took the top rad hose off and poored water directly into that and the thermostat opened once heated up and all is working good!

    I know mate dont worry I dont think that, the advice you have given makes perfect sense I probably am just worrying over nothing lol.

    That sounds like it makes sense i'll try this tomorrow and let you know. Before when I tried I switched the engine off after a few minutes everytime steam started coming out the rad cap opening so i'll let it warm up for 10 minutes hoping the stat opens.

    Will the rad fill up tho if the stats shut?

    Also how do I drain the water from the block as everythings gunno get covered in coolant if I just take the thermostat off wouldnt it?

    Thats what I need to get my head around tho, getting coolant to the stat! it shouldnt be anything else as car was working fine and all ive done is put a new radiator on. I just cant get the coolant to the stat
