    I know this has probably been covered a million times but after searching I cant find the information im after and just want to see what you guys do. I have a Do-Luck front on a UK spec car and am wondering what the smallest legal number plate I can have on the front as the normal size pretty much takes the whole intercooler space. Not keen on having it in my window or to the side just wanna see pics of where you guys have got yours. Thanks.

    15k sounds about right, not just for the damage but for the stress, the cheek of driving the car without permission, and because the car he wants to replace it with costs 15k. Im not being funny but if that was my car I wouldnt be passing go or collecting £200, but it would be worth it imo.

    When is the next Bluewater meet December 7th? I may well be attending this one that gives me 2 weeks to put the car back together an MOT'd and start getting my attendence up to scratch

    Im really intreaged to know how this works I just cant see how, I thought the only way to launch at high rpm was with a high stall torque converter. Im gunno look into this as it could be a real worth while mod...

    How does launch control work with an auto? I have always wondered this cause wanted it on mine but thought it was for manuals only

    Is when the syvecs cuts spark to reduce power thus more traction. I think.

    +1 Why? Mine misfires when traction is lost, only when set to a traction setting tho of course...

    Not long to go now until its all done I went down the bodyshop today and its looking very mean indeed. Colour wise will be a ferrari colour and not the Grigio Telesto as planned as thats been done!

    Yeah I suppose it could happen then. I'll have to check when I get my car back but im hoping it was from another car in there before mine or something spilt lol. I couldnt see water dripping from my car so with a bit of luck its not the car.

    Thats what I thought should happen but it didnt for the only reason I can think of is after the water shot out the engine there was no fluid touching the stat which meant it couldnt open even after the engine was warm. but as soon as I poored some hot water in the top hose it come into contact with the stat and opened it then the fluid level in the rad dropped and I topped it up from there. I'll have a check around the heater matrix hoses for leaks. Cheers.

    I would say I poored about half a cup full in then realised I could crack the block so I poored boiling water from the kettle into it and it fixed my problem of not being able to bleed the coolant system by opening the stat and letting the water rush into the engine.

    Yeah i'll check all round that area. The only reason I was thinking it could be a cracked block is because when I filled the car with coolant I poored it in the top rad hose while the engine was still hot. but then again when the thermostat opens that lets the cold straight into a hot engine. Its probably something simple...

    Thats what I was thinking it could be. I just hope its not a cracked block or something. Would the engine still run if its a cracked block? Cause it runs fine.

    I took a little trip to the bodyshop this morning and they said my car has a small oil leak with a puddle on the floor approx 4" in diameter after the car sitting there for a couple of days. After getting under the car its actually water but couldnt smell antifreeze in it. The puddle is directly below the gearbox sump. Any ideas where this would be coming from? Does any of the rain water get directed under the car around that place? Could the block be cracked somehow? Thanks

    Grey will look awesome plus I cant find another supra in that specific shade, it will either look really good or really poo lol.

    Yeah I think the grey looks classier too. Although white would look really clean. Cheers mate cant wait now

    Yep all drivable Just missing the lights and trim etc. Really tossing between lambo grey or white now and only got a few days to decide
