  1. Thanks guys, 1st gear will always be a problem for grip but as soon as second comes in it hooks. On a prepped drag strip Ryan thinks it's good for a 9 second pass. I'll try get some videos at some point
  2. Well.... It's been a long journey but here it is, the SRD1000s. I met Lee and Ryan this morning at Abbey Motorsport hub dyno for what was the day to put all the hard work and craftsmanship to life. The car was put in place and bolted to the dyno then the mapping began, first few runs we reached 824.5 RWHP at 7600rpm on Vpower @ 1.7 bar of boost. All seemed well the gearbox held strong so it was time to push it further. We then run a 70% ethanol mix which we then reached the overall figure and maxed the turbo out at 906.7 RWHP @1.8 bar of boost at 7300 rpm which I believe is well over 1000hp at the flywheel The transmission has held up incredibly well for a built a340 and feels strong throughout the rev range. With the Syvecs now controlling the transmission as a standalone it's able to lock the torque convertor up and have full control at each rpm enabling a safe load on the gearbox. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved at SRD and the man himself Ryan G for the mapping. I'm absolutely over the moon with the result and wouldn't have done anything differently. I've had the car out on the roads and it pulls very strongly! A lot more than I expected, the mickeys put down the power so well it pins me to the seat in every gear! Well done guys you've made what seemed at the start impossible and made it a reality you should be very proud of! V-Power @ 1.7 bar - 824.5 RWHP at 7609 rpm 673.0 Ft Lbs at 5492 rpm V-Power @ 1.8 bar with 70% Ethanol - 906.7 RWHP at 7300 rpm 711.6 Ft Lbs at 6288 rpm http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=203442&d=1437503324 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=203393&d=1437432037 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=203394&d=1437432097
  3. Thanks guys Just had a bit of fun on the high boost setting. She pulls good
  4. Awesome A really comfortable car to drive everything works the way it should and the power delivery is phenomenal. That's on mid boost! Once I sort my rear arches out I'll give it some stick in high boost Thanks mate
  5. Ryan and Lee had it on the road for a while doing bits. But yeah it certainly has, thanks Thanks mate, that's the setup maxed out as well so everything works in harmony together and no broken gearbox I think it most definitely deserves the srd1000 badge though
  6. Well I'm home, thanks everyone I'm well chuffed couldn't be happier with it. What a car!! Kaanimal lol
  7. Link to video and dyno graph I'm having a bit of trouble uploading it direct to the forum. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10153509716094283&id=772499282&ref=fbwaexpcopy
  8. Thanks guys, nice easy drive home yeah Final result: 906 HP to the hubs. 70% Ethanol at 1.8 bar of boost at 7400rpm. The gearbox was fine and that must be well over 1000hp at the flywheel.! Well happy with that!
  9. Lol I'm not sure to be honest, maybe go for 800rhhp again but less boost. I would have thought 900rhhp will be easy enough though people have hit 1100rwhp on that turbo in the states.
  10. I was just reading through your dyno thread, pretty impressive for a 50% mix. Should get a massive improvement on ethanol.
  11. 802hp at the hubs on pump fuel @ 1.7 bar. Still tuning though.
  12. Haha it would be good. Maybe next year though once I've got it set up for the strip properly
  13. Fair enough Just up the M1?? It's 4 and a half bloody hours away!! Looks pretty good though but I've got a lot of events booked in the next couple of months so I'll probably give this one a miss but thanks
  14. Thanks man! Is there a difference? Lol Thank you, where is TOTB? I've not heard of it mate.
  15. Thanks guys appreciate it! We're aiming for 800rwhp so not sure what that equates to at the flywheel.
  16. Thank you guys, I hope it does well. Excitement is through the roof
  17. Dyno day tomorrow!! Booked in for the morning at Abbey motorsport hub Dyno
