Have you tried tightening the wheel nuts properly? I had this with my car and it turns out I forgot to tighten one of the wheels...

I have faith in your words Jamie Although it might be close I might ask Ryan to make a map just for short drag runs maybe turn the boost up to 2bar and sneak some nitrous in on 3rd.

Thanks mate 10 seconds is what im hoping for, I know its a cliche but having a 10 sec car is what ive always wanted to achieve but without actually doing it and just going by a stopwatch doesnt mean anything. I would be very happy with a 10 second pass tho I hope the next drag event goes forward...

Does anyone know an average ET speed to reach a high 10 second pass? Im trying to work out with my car what time I can achieve but I know theres so many variables in it. Could doing 0-120mph in 10 seconds mean it will do the quarter in 10 seconds? Im just confusing myself so is there a rule of thumb for trap speeds vs times? Or I suppose waiting to the next event would seem logical

Its a pointless thread to gather "opinions". Everyone is different. When I was looking to buy a supra there were plently of £10k stock tt6 around but I was quite happy spending the money on one with plenty of mods, bodykit, single upgrade, gauges etc. I probably would have sold it by now if I bought a stock one because its boring imo, I like to have fun in my cars not keep them locked away hoping that one day it will be a collectors item and be worth a few grand more. These are not really "improvments" tho?

Some of the things I would like to do next year are- Replace all plumbing with aeroquip fittings. Remove the ABS & Trac pumps Move battery to boot. Fit an aftermarket intake manifold Upgrade to a GT42 tubby Paint the engine bay same colour as car Polish some bits And enter a drag event You have a lot on your list erm.. Listy

Chin up bud it could be something simple like as you said the timing may be out. I wouldnt throw in the towel just yet, try and eliminate all the little possibilities first one at a time and go from there.
