  1. Its ok ive got parts coming tomorrow to replace the leaking oil line with proper fittings and Ryan can figure the idle problem when im there. Its not actually that bad at all but it bugs me. Thought it would be a good idea to polish the compressor housing and intake while its off, its taken me most of the day to do lol. Its alot better than it was anyway -
  2. Has anyone got a clear diagram of where the cigerette lighter should be wired to? Or if I wire straight in to the live circuit what amp fuse do I need?
  3. Got ya! Something Ryan can do before mapping I guess I dare plug my car into the computer who knows what will happen
  4. You might want to consider some good quality gaskets
  5. I think i'll check the ICV and give it a clean to eliminate that possibiltity. What is tps?
  6. Hold on i'll get a picture... This will make you laugh.
  7. Yep thats correct, but this is happening when running for an hour or two infact I think it gets worse as temps rise.
  8. Yeah course I do, it warms up pretty quick anyway and I find after about 5 minutes of running the 3500rpm rev limit is lifted. Its just started to run a bit funny lately I dont know if its the oil temp getting too hot where the return lines burning itself against the exhaust manifold or it could be changing from v power to tesco ultimate I dont know. But until I get it to Ryan then i'll know exactly what it is and what can be done.
  9. Could Ryan not just diagnose it while im there tho?
  10. I havent got the time as ive just stripped it down to replace the oil and water lines and need to order the bits asap to get that sorted for tuesday. I'll just have to drive it to him and if its still playing up and he cant map it i'll have get the problem sorted then re book it.
  11. I couldnt mate I work 7 days a week and to replace the oil return line the manifold has to come off. Also diagnosing the idling problem and getting bits in could take some time.
  12. Cheers guys, I was looking forward to it but now I have a list of problems I dont feel safe driving 2 hours then giving it the beans on a dyno. Water return from turbo leak Oil return from turbo leak Heat sleeve wedged between manifold burning and smoking Rough idle problems Its too late to cancel, what can I do?
  13. I dont really want to drive it now, it feels wierd to drive I hate it. Where is this found? Aircon removed mate.
  14. Somethings definately not right, it briefly just started limiting itself at 3500rpm and then worked again as normal. Its not juddering as bad as the other night but still doesnt seem smooth either.
  15. Ah man I was hoping to see some serious turbos bolted on On the other hand good work
  16. Yeah 13.8 is running voltage so I guess i'll check this out and see whats happening. Is there anything else it could be if the alternator seems to be charging fine?
  17. Could I test this by putting some electricals on to see if it gets worse? Or plugging something on the battery to test charging voltage?
  18. Maybe Would this cause the revs to be un stable whilst moving but not accelerating at around 2-3k rpm also?
  19. I know and also looks very messy. Do you know whats suppose to plug into the white connector block on the left of the trans tunnel? I think theres three and its the one at the back with nothing plugged in.
  20. Right so ive just been out again and its still doing it, when accelerating its fine but as soon as I let off or sit at traffic lights just ticking over its slightly reving up and down and not stable like it should be. It seems to have only just started doing this so im a bit confused.
