  1. Could you not use something like this - http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/150899161386?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&adtype=pla&crdt=0 Im sure the oem hose is more than strong enough and this will give it the looks. Edit: Or this - http://www.sfsperformance.co.uk/tape.asp

    Missing her lol

I miss my car when I pay for fuel.
  3. But he should still get an interior lamp to illuminate from this method? Which failing to get any kind of voltage into the car means some kind of main power fuse has blown?
  4. Even if the battery was still connected its the exact same as having 2 batterys in parallel but with one dead and the other fully charged it will by pass the dead battery at the terminals in my logic. Or removing the battery and using someone elses is the same as having a battery in the boot but with an alternater charging it. Electrics are not my strong point lol....
  5. So taking the battery out the equation, and plugging the jump leads straight onto the battery leads of the car as if you have a fully charged battery just the only difference being it not sitting in the car? I dont get how this cant work.

    Retrim

Ooo, I may ask him to retrim my misano's
  7. I cant see how it wouldnt start as its just the same as using another battery sat in another car with longer leads thats charging at the same time
  8. It should be pretty air tight, although if anything air would leak into the pipe under boost.
  9. I know a guy just down the road that trailered my car when I got it sprayed. I had to take the front bumper off but is it worth me asking him for a price?
  10. Yeah it shows the same on the PC. I checked the coolant sensor, disconnected, shorted the wires and still got the same figure on the syvecs. On page 1 there is a screenshot of the warning the syvecs has shown.
  11. Still looks amazing! Does the engine get locked in a vault until work starts lol.
  12. Because ive decided never to sell my car
  13. Im excited for you mate this is gunno be something special for sure!
  14. That bracket in the picture is the one I bought from Hodge to remove mine, still nice and shiney I remover the rad, pipework up to the firewall and the pump swapping it with the bracket above. If you remove the pump aswell the part number for the shorter belt is PK 1865. The only thing I still need to do is remove the fuse and the pipe work behind the firewall but its ok for now. I might consider getting a heater control unit from a model with no air con so I dont have a functionless button, do these exis or do all supra;s have air con? Hope this helps anyway.
  15. I had the same problem when going over 80mph the master warning light came on and the switch for the active spoiler would flash, removed my active spoiler ecu behind the stereo and all is good now.
  16. Ah never mind im sure it will get changed by one of the mods. Whats an edfc unit? Never heard of this what does it do?
  17. Double click after the last letter of the title on the recent posts screen and edit. Also I have BC and find them more than suitable for all the needs a street car needs.
  18. Then get an auto and don't lift off But yeah I see what you mean now you put it like that makes perfect sense.
  19. The way I see it is you could have 10" piping and boost will still come on the same time as the piping is always gunno have air inside even when the cars not running, if there was a vacuum in the piping then spool will take drastically longer as its then got to fill the pipework first then the engine, but it's not so whatever air is in pipework just gets pushed through so I think a bigger pipe is always better as its not as restrictive.
  20. Blown gearbox ready for a rebuild, should have this back and running as it should within the next few weeks. After draining the transmission fluid it definately doesnt look right lol -
  21. Everytime this thread crops up I just have to view it to see how it can still possibly be going lol, a forum classic this is and always will be
  22. What a helpfull bunch of people, glad you could sort it yourself and it wernt to much trouble.
